Meh I am going to tp the school during the dance. I might be able to get the girl I would go with to do it with me to.
im only going to my senior prom
Depends entirely on your school. We'd all show up to prom just for the pics, maybe a dance and then head out for the after party.
Well.
The first time I had second thoughts about it,
Cause I thought it was going to be shit and boring.
But I have to say,
It was the most amazing moment in my life.
It felt that every-one put there hates and troubles behind themselves and just had fun for once.
It was a shame though cause after that week every-thing went back to the same deal.
But it was a chance I was glad I took.
I usually don't want to go to those things but my girlfriend and my cousin drag me anyway. It's pretty fun when I do go though.
If I ever did go I'd go in a polo and jeans while everyone else was in expensive dresses and crap. I like feeling different.

Since I hate my school so much, I will never go any of these event.
I didn't want to go at first, because I would be surrounded by people who didn't like me, and whom I didn't like either. But then I decided I would take my girlfriend and a bunch of my buddies were going anyway, and I can't say I regret going.
It was probably the single greatest night of my life.
Consider whether or not you care that you'd be called a social outcast anyway, considering you're not being cast out, but choosing NOT to go.
Secondly, consider all options. Do you have anything better to do? Do you have reason to go? Do you have reason NOT to go? etc.
Not going to school events, its alot better off if im not there. But there might be 1 that im going to.
Jak, just go man. Prom is always a blast. Remember to keep it safe *cough*, and make sure you're sobered up.
around here you do SOMETHING that night, but hardly anyone goes to the dances. You usally watch the football game, go out to eat, then go to a redneck party,party hard and wake up in a ditch if you did it right.

this year i may not go to homecoming, XC meet to go to.(dont care bout popularity this year)
prom, so far away, not sure bout that yet.
senior prom is like the only dance at my school wheres its ok if u dont have a date, but you come anyway. all the other dances, if you dont have a date, u might as well stay home cuz its kinda embarrassing. unless ur a jock or something and ur excuse can be "to hang out with ur football buddies"

You can always do it like me. Since I had broken up with my current girlfriend like 1 week before my prom, I just went alone.
While there I snatched someone else's girl and took her away from there (by her request) and had a really good night.
It'll go just fine if you go there on a good mood and willing to have fun.
**** I hated the prom so much.

I used to go to home coming. But only because it was a cool excuse to go chill at the town where my school was at until late at night. I never actually "went" to homecoming. Lol.
The prom. Meh. It was stupid. I don't really remember much. It wasn't that awesome. And I never wanted to go to the prom. Ever. But, my mom muscled me into it lol. And then I went to my girl friends the year after mine.
I don't like proms and dressing up or any of that shit. **** it. lol.
My girlfriend of nearly 10 months is in the 10th grade and can't go to Junior/Senior prom bc of her parents so i'm thinking about going with another girl this year or wait till my senior year to go. Homecoming = Football game which the band plays at. Otherwise I'm not a senior.
I love dressing up.
I just bought my first suit today...150 bucks,but man do I look good.

First, my school changed the prom night venue to the school, instead of a proper place like a hotel / club.
Now, they totally canceled the prom night, and arranged a graduation lunch for us. Pretty lame. But I'll just go for the free lunch.
