What PG6 said :hmm:
What's with the hate? It's pretty much a freestyle to a beat, done with a laptop mic and just to get my name out there.
I'll be getting a studio microphone soon, and rehearsing rhymes and hopefully improving my voice and flow.
You can have a go at it, and let's see how well you do. Put yourself out there for a bunch of strangers to judge you and yeah. Link me when you're done.
Give him a break, he's a new rapper. o_O
People are allowed to criticize you without being able (or expecting) to do better than you in return. It's called opinion.
That's like criticizing a movie negatively. Its not like you're able to make anything with as much production value- its that you didn't try and fail.
Anyway, I personally won't criticize your work. I know nothing of this "flow rap freestyle" stuff. Pretty safe to say I'm oblivious to that kind of stuff, being a boring ol white boy llol. Grats on trying your best though.
Just give it some time.
It wasn't really the way it was written, just how it sounded.
It's not criticism when its just a bland rejection of my work. I mean, if you're going to hate on it, keep it to yourself.
It's alright though, I kind've like it.
Your biggest problem is obviously you sounding white.
And the way you flow, you gotta connect with the beat more.

and compare what you do to what I do.
You have no flow at all. Your rapping like "An asian born and raised in On-t a r i o". If you had more flow it wouldn't be as bad as it is.
Yeah, like I JUST got into this whole rap thing pretty much as a dare/joke, but I'm enjoying it. Hopefully I can learn quickly and become at least decent.
So pretty much, I shouldn't have large gaps inbetween lines.
You see, I'm not just sitting behind a screen recording into a laptop monitor.
I'm writing all my stuff, piecing it together, and going out there and playing it in front of a live audience, and THEN putting it on the internet for MORE people to see.
Lots and lots and LOTS of people, even here on OnRPG, don't like what I do.
But I don't challenge them to do any better. I'm still writing, and I'm still going up onstage in front of 100, 200 people a night (depending on the venue) and doing my shit.
Don't think we're all fancy talk and no game, broski. Cause you'll be proven wrong.
One comment on that video pretty much says it all. I guess we all have our own personal tastes and opinions, but if they're negative, we should just keep it to ourselves.
Yeah I gotta agree with him here. Putting your opinion without putting your reasons automatically makes it void. Its like reviewing a movie and saying "it sucked" if you don't put reasons WHY it sucked or reasons why you didn't like it your opinion isn't a opinion.
