I probably would.
I probably would.
Same. :/
I hate cats.
I wouldn't. =[
I have 3 cats. And $1000 isn't even a lot to me.
$1000 isn't a lot, but for like 30 seconds of work, no problem. My mom used to think that my grandparents cats would only have one kitten at a time... Apparently kittens can't swim in burlap sacks.
I wouldn't kill a box of innocent kittens for a billion dollars.
I probaly would. I ****ing hate cats. Sometimes I put mine in the freezer for 5-10 minutes.
I'm allergic to cats.
They're ****ed.
I wouldn't kill a shark for a thousand dollars, much less a box of kittens.
I wouldn't kill a human for no reason, same for another animal.
Plant a knife on them.
Next question, if Xeno doesn't mind:
Would you kill a thousand people for $1,000?
"BUT IT'S DIFFERENT! THEY'RE PEOPLE!", not really.
If you put your cat in the ****ing freezer then your a sick bastard.
Gtfo now, seriously.
I would just feed em some convinient poision i happen to carry around and was totally not saving for the president which would kill them swiftly.
if i couldnt do that, then no. I would only stab them / break their knecks for, iunno, 100,000-1,000,000 quid.
ya rly.
first off, a box of kittens, which is maybe, what. 5-6 kittens, doesn't amount to the same as one-thousand organisms. secondly, humans can become great scientists, the capacity to do great things, and to do great good or evil.
Cats just go Meow, eat, sleep and SHIT.
So yes, it is different, now STFU and GTFO.Im kidding, Heart you really.
ROFL WHAT? Power Gamer 6?? =P
You should have made it a public poll. I know for a FACT I didn't vote 8 times.
Impostors.
depends how the man wants em dead. Strangled to death probably not.Gutting them hell no. Throwing off a cliff then yes we have a deal. Maybe lighting them on fire while listening to metallica so i don't have to hear them cry.
powergamer6
*hugs his cat close and glares at all the people who said yes*
I wouldn't kill 1 kitten for a billion
I would kill an human easily for 1K if I had no chance of getting caught.... unless the person I am supposed to kill is cute....
Nope if you do you are selfish and have no conscious
I wouldn't. It would take a lot for me to bring myself to murder kittens.
Besides, what do I have to buy?
How is it different? Both are living beings, both are conscious, both are "innocent", except the animals definitely so.
If you wouldn't kill a thousand people for the same money, why is it ok to kill animals? Cos humanity says so? If humanity is to be believed, it's more than acceptable to kill one another.
I would do neither, I just find human self-importance and worth to be ridiculous. "I'm more important than a cat.", to who?
I'll take a grand, I'm a broke college student. I'll do anything for cash.
Depends on how fun you make it.
That old argument is ridiculous; "Because we're omnivores.".
I never said it's wrong to kill animals, I'm simply arguing the subjective importance of different things to different people. Humans don't respect human life, so why should individuals? Humans are shit, for every good thing we've achieved as a race, there's a bad thing that's worse. Even then, it's not "us", it's specific people.
Not our equal in ways that don't matter in this scenario. They're not smarter etc, but why does that matter here?
There are people who have pets that they love and adore way more than billions of humans that they don't even know, why should they elevate the importance of those humans based on the fact that they're the same species?
They shouldn't if they do not want to.
As for your first part; you're more important to a bunch of people, yeah. Those specific people. You're not more important to me than a random cat, are you? You're just a random human. There are specific humans I value above all else, but I'm pretty sure if you had a pet you adored and loved for years and years, you wouldn't value it over me.
If we're going down this road, why don't you first realise my point?
I'd choose the girlfriend, but why? Because humans are better? No, because THAT human is more important to me. If you grabbed a cat and a random human, I couldn't give a shit. My point lies in what people value as individuals. I do not grant human life some unspoken level of sanctity.
