Arrogant? He's arrogant because he believes children can sepparate acts described in lyrics from what is ok to do in real life? I'd say you're arrogant if you think they can't.
Not only do you devalue the intellect of people, your statement also devalues personal responsibility.

If people take song-lyrics to heart to the extendt that they think it tells them how to live their lives and then act upon it, there is something fundamentally wrong them to begin with. The fault then lies at the hands of societies educaters(I.E parents and teachers), and a serious lack of common sense.
Most artists talking about terrible things, don't promote it in their songs by saying their fans should go out and do it, and even if some do, a modicum of intelligence should be enough to understand that you should't do something just because somebody tells you to.

If you want to ban everything that might have anti-intellectual impact on young minds, we should ban all religions, books of philosophy, and everything else that propagates a set of behavior, since it can, if viewed by an idiot, lead to people acting like the child in that video.

I find it funny to think about how people on this forum is so quick to jump on hip hop as a hatred-inducing thing, yet defend religion in the religious threads on this board, when religion is arguably the biggest instigator of ignorance and hatred in human history.

Please, not only you girtrute, but everyone, even though you shouldn't be so judgemental in the first place, at least don't be judgemental if you can't even be consistant.

I know PG6 posted this for the lulz, so don't go ruining it by spewing out actual ignorance in his thread.
