Is there any way to fall OUT of love?

I have two best friends who just broke up with their girlfriends to go out with two other girls. I'm friends with both of their ex-girlfriends, and both of them still love my best friends. They feel like shit, that they still have feelings for their ex-boyfriends, but they can't stop loving them. They want to fall OUT of love.

Now, I've sat here thinking as hard as I could, and I can't come up with a way to do it. Does OnRPG have any ideas?

Also, this is genuine love as far as I'm concerned, not just high school fling bullshit.

Much as there is no way to fall IN love, there isn't really any way to fall OUT of love.
It MAY just come with time, if the person is willing to let go.

Have them go about their day or take them somewhere fun so they can take it out their mind.

Just take them out to a nice club, order them some light drinks until they've eased up and bring out the mother****ing hypnotiq, redbull, ketamine shit.

And then when they wake up, their boyfriends should be the least of their worries.

If that doesn't work, go in depth with it.

Look, I'm not saying it is love or not. That's not my jurisdiction and it's not what I'm trying to find out. Even if it is lust, they're still only high school girls, they don't know what love is, and they're tricking themselves into liking these guys.

Yeah, their exes treat them like shit, but they can't let go, that's their problem.

There are 6 billion people in the world. I'm sure she could find someone else to care about. Building your whole life around someone that's not dedicated to you is the dumbest thing you could possibly do. If she can't comprehend that, then it would be best to let her fend for herself.

This is something that I've tried to do myself... after years... I mean it, years.

I thought and the only thing I could come up with, is if you utterly convinced yourself you hated them. You don't want anything to do with them. So much so, you just stop all thoughts of them. Hating them and raging about them will only make you think of them more, you need to hate them coldly. Without the passion of rage.



But its impossible, unless you have an iron will.

Just ask them to wait, cause no matter what you said to them they will try to counter with every impossible thinkings they had.

I find that a nice line of tequila shots help women fall out of love really quick, and then fall IN love with eachother.

But seriously...don't you get involved with that shit. Don't date either of them, because if your friend decides he wants her back, she'll leave you for him. EVERY ****ING TIME! (I've been screwed over like that at least 3 times. Never be the recoil boyfriend.)

Also; it just takes time. They'll get over it real quick. Just point out what an asshole he must have been to do something like that. It always makes me sick when I hear "Oh hey, we're done now cause (so and so) is better".

It just shows the whole relationship was based on something that wasn't solid to begin with.
