What's your favorite video game of ALL TIME?

Yeaa, Paper mario was awesome. It has to rank as my favorite N64 game (with Majora's mask or star fox 64 close behind).
Another epic game was Final Fantasy tactics advanced, funny thing was I didn't even own the game, I borrowed it from a neighbor for like a year. Kid didn't like me much after that.
Skies Of Arcadia was the best game on the gamecube I played.

I feel like as good of a game is, OoT is starting to get more and more obsolete.

I'm going to be crucified for saying this, but the Windwaker was, all in all, a better game. Accept for that ****ing part where you had to find all the items in the Ocean to get to the final sequence. That was ghey.

Oh also, has anyone ever played a game called Legend of Legaia? It was a really charming PSX RPG that has been the victim of terrible injustice at the hands of its abysmal PS2 sequel.

The Tomba games were pretty sweet too.

I dunno, Ocarina of Time will probably be the only game that I ever play through completely 10 times (and without getting bored with it). In fact, I was recently notified that the 10th anniversary of the game is coming up, so I'm going to go over to my mom's to play it through again to mark the special occasion :]

edit: I've never actually played Windwaker or any of the newer Zelda games, though.

But you have to remember that Ocarina of Time was in unknown territory. 3D games were new at the time and making a game as good as it was when they had nothing to base it off of was amazing.

OoT is considered the best because of its time. I think its lowered when compared to Twilight Princess now but at its time it was amazing. Though I would say its getting overrated now.
Still love it though.

Gamecube master quest edition is absolutely amazing.

I'm not saying the game wasn't completely revolutionary for the 3D generation, and it still holds up spectacularly well against a lot of modern games, but I still enjoyed my first play through of the Windwaker more than my first play through of OoT.

I never really got to play Twilight Princess.... I did buy it. I did put it in my Wii. I did beat the first dungeon. But then I just of... lost interest. A shame too, because I really did like what I saw so far. I'm going to have to give it another go when I get my Wii up here in MA.

The cell-shaded direction that wind waker took was pretty new too, there wasn't many well known games. And think, many thought the game was gonna be kiddy, but it really wasn't.
But my favorite is still Majora's mask, I just loved it for some reason.

Well there have been plenty of cell shaded games. Jet Set Radio is probably the only one worth playing though.


But Majora's Mask is amazing. I can still pick up that game and find something new.

I LOVE Banjo Kazooie, it is definitely somewhere in my top 20.

Sadly, I never got the chance to play Majora's Mask (because you needed that bullshit expansion pack thing to play it, and back then I had very little money, so by the time I could get it, it wasn't being sold anywhere)

I think that Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie were both better than Mario 64. Of course, they did come out at a later date, when the technology was a little more manageable.

Yes! I ****ing hated those things, but I still got to play it at a friends house. I remember someone walking in while I was a deku spirit and making fun of me for playing a baby game, then when I turned back into Link, he was all "OMG you're playing Zelda? COOOOOOOOL!"

Personally, I feel like Banjo Kazooie was better then Super Mario 64. The level design and music where great.

I had bad moments with that game...
You guys should play Space Station: Silicon Valley.

Its a computer chip that takes over bodies of animals and there are like 50 animals to become. Its awesome.

It reminds me of the whole comedy aspect that Banjo shares with this.

But Half life episode 1 and 2 where soooo fun!
Also prince of persia!

Have they put it (Majora's Mask) on Wii as a downloadable yet? I would buy that system, I think, just for that.

When I was a kid, I could never get past any of the adult part of OoT because I was scared shit of the zombies. After I grew some balls, I came back and beat the game and did most of that stuff. With the help of the internet.

The best game for playing with friends that I have ever found was Champions of Norrath (and the sequel) for the PS2. We logged an astounding amount of hours on it and the sequel, holding sleepovers often to play it longer. We were obsessed with it for almost a full year. When one person wasn't there, we had a system were one person would hold two controllers, and try to steer the person who wasn't there into the path of enemies, so they wouldn't have to control them anymore.

I think on our best file, we got to level 80 or something, and were starting Legendary difficulty on the sequel. I think it got corrupted, or something, sadly. We never got anywhere near as far after that.

Me and my friend once pulled an all nighter beating the very similar Balder's Gate. I had a rogue, he was a warrior.

What else can we talk about... Hmmm...

Ape Escape!

I love that game. I remember playing that at my friend's house every day, taking turns every time one us died. My heart was broken when he decided to pick up the controller and "accidentally" beat it while I was outside.
