FF4, now, and 3 also.
Spider Man Web of Shadows, all the of the Castlevania series, Pheonix Wright series...
r4ds and download the rest
all games starring mario......get like 1 castlevania game since theyre pretty similar youd get tired playing them all consecutively.....final fantasy tactics a2....imo ff3 and 4 got boring pretty quick.....since playing rpgs now a days i cant really stick to turn based rpgs anymore sadly...most of the games oister has...oh wait i just though of a good rpg that i can always stick to and you should like it as well....because you have to...chrono trigger...i heard that proffesor layton game was pretty kickass too, Elite Beat Agents is pretty fun...its sorta like guitar hero just that you use the touch screen and you dont press frets you just tap the notes that appear on the screen...its way more difficult than it seems
CycloDS ftw. its expensive, but so worth it for the features ^_^ i so made use of the slow motion feature in playing puzzle games with time limit =3 i avoid using the action replay cheat unless i get very lazy and do infinite gold at most only. i just like the satisfaction of manually grinding my ass off.
i recommend the following:
Advance Wars - Dual Strike (rts)
Custom Robo Arena (fighting)
Disgaea DS (tactic rpg)
Dragon Quest IV - The Chapters of the Chosen (rpg)
Etrian Odyssey I (classic dungeon crawler rpg)
Etrian Odyssey II (classic dungeon crawler rpg)
Final Fantasy III (rpg)
Final Fantasy IV (rpg)
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles - Ring of Fates (rpg)
Harvets Moon Series (Simulation, you will either hate it or love it)
Izuna (rpg, personally im not a fan of it, but many people like it)
Lunar Knights (rpg)
Mario Kart (seriously, this is a must for all ds owners)
Metroid Prime Hunters (shooting, one of the fps with best controls)
Pokemon (rpg, any of them. you either hate them or love them. me, not a fan)
Professor Layton and the Curious Village (puzzle, and i mean a ton of variety of them)
Puzzle Quest (puzzle & rpg)
Rune Factory (harvest moon, but also with fighting)
Summon Night - Twin Age (rpg)
The World Ends with You (rpg)
Trauma Center - Under the Knife (simulation)
Any Soduko games, if you like these puzzles

cycloDS Evoloution!!!!
And yes, be carefull. I would avoid the Edge flash card, though its cheap, appears to have alot of WiFi and game compatability problems (bought one for my lil bro, I've tested it).
Then as for games I'd recomend:
-The World Ends With You
-Andvance Wars: Dark Conflict
-Any of the Castlevania's
-Mario Kart DS
-FF: Tactics A2
-FF4
I found the pokemon games ok, I feel sad for trying them, and worse for liking them XD
Try platnum when it comes out.
I try to not use it on games I actually WANT to play. Like Mario bothers and stuff. If it gets to an annoying part in the game I switch it on, and sometimes keep it on depending how fun it is (Chibi Robo was a lot more fun with cheats on)
I cheat all the way through games people suggest to me that I'm reluctant about. I just wanna know what all the fuss is about, and if its good enough I'll replay without them.
Or vice versa (if I beat without, I reply with. Like Animal Xing and Zelda)
well if you get any flash card, you will find this piece of software handy =p lol

Final Fantasy Tactics
There's been a lot of good games mentioned here. I've been having a lot of fun with Pheonix Wright: Ace Attorney while I was sick this weekend. I've seen flash animations and YTMNDs about it but never got to playing it until now, it's actually pretty fun. One of those "find different clues and use them in certain situations" puzzle games.
