That's down to perception. If that's your own, fine, but, don't expect others to see things the same way, in fact, it'd be quite arrogant to do so.

You implied that the purpose my posts was to gain another number below my name. Thus the term '+1 posts'. Therefore, you're saying that I care about my post count enough to do such a thing.

However, as you've said, you see it as 'Just for the hell of it/Needless', which I don't. However, I'm not going to force my way of seeing things onto you, therefore, now that you've explained it, it seems more reasonable. I'm not arrogant enough to presume that everyone sees things my way.

Well, this is only attempt #1 at trying to make the forums more acceptable for younger audiences. Murxi did say it was only an "alpha", and so expect to see more changes soon. Hopefully the filter could affect the birth year you enter while signing up or something.

Well this topic has been going on a while. Yes the filter system was a surprise to many, however it is currently being looked over in the staff section. As well perhaps infractions should be given to false advertisement of titles ;).
