The reason I saw 18-19 is because a lot of teens are still in high school at 18.

taking up biochemistry. not really interested. but dad's pushing me to take the course up for medschool. a bit interested in that thanks to grey's anatomy and house.
but i'm going to shift to another course this coming semester anyway. taking up organizational communication. THAT i really want.

Seriously, go with what you wanna do and accept the lower salary (40k maybe). I am a guy going into teaching which is not socially acceptable. My wife will have to work. However, I don't want some wife leeching off my salary. Pet's dont' work. I don't wanna pet. I want a wife.
i agree with doing what you like.
i mean, i spent 3 years in biochemistry appealing that dad lets me transfer to organizational communication, and though i only have 1 year left in biochemistry til i graduate, i still chose to transfer and go back to scratch just for the course that i want.
i really want to take up something related to communications because i really like writing, talking, and going around for promotions since that's what i have been doing for orgs since high school. want to have a career in advertising and/or media.

I graduated with a degree in Biology and Biochemistry, great and all, but completely unnessecary. I'm going to be taking a two and a half year course to be a medical lab tech which didn't need the degree (many jobs in medicine don't, check your tech schools). The degree allows for quick promotion and opens up other oppurtunities mind you.Quote:
