Whoah, they made The Beach into a movie?
Meh, i'm not gonna watch it, I don't want it ruined, like the power of one almost did.

If you really like movies, I suggest getting caught into the Matrix series, its a great trip and once you get into it, easily hypeable (as in, get really excited about the story), if you can look past the "flaws" that so many people think Keanu Reeves gives it.
Some favorites are...
The ChumScrubber
and Donnie Darko
The Shawshank Redemption

The Wickerman (original)

WATCH OLDBOY!!
or if you're looking for films with a little more culture, there's Slumdog millionare.

Wow, you guys have listed some of the best movies ever, depending on mood.
I also see alot of indie movies, which is absolutely awesome.
Movies like
Donnie Darko
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
MirrorMask
OldBoy
All completely different. All amazing in its own
Im current looking for Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (I remember hearing alot about it, so its my next)
Yeah they made it a movie. Its very very good tho. Aside from Gangs of New York, Leos best act goes here.
Donnie Darko was okay, too obscure to get anything from it. The sequel should prove to be amusing though.
Inside, Oldboy, the Lady Vengeance movies, Audition, Tokyo Gore Police.
Some movies I've watched lately.
Die Hard!
And Die Hard 2!
I haven't seen 3 or 4 yet..
Might I also suggest...
HARRY POTTAH?

take the money and run
I was absolutely captivated by this movie. I guess some would consider boring and slow, but I was mesmerized by the characters and the jaw dropping cinematography. I recommend it to anyone who is patient and enjoys films not just as entertainment, but also as an art form.Quote:
