I turned the TV off when it came on. I made it through a few minutes, but that was about it.
I wasn't impressed.
Lyrically I appreciated it, but the delivery was so boring, man.
I remember seeing this in history class and asking my teacher who it was. He was like, "Some idiot." and walked away.
I didn't really find his benediction funny. Race is being played up too much.

They got Yoyo Ma and Perlman to play in the music... Yet they couldn't get a decent poem?
it was funny to see how people started walking away when she started reading that poem.

Indeed it is. "Black?" How about, "Multi-Racial."
Well, Obama picked it, from what I hear. He seems to like her poetry. Problem(s) is(are), that poem was too much of a desperate homage to Obama's ideals, and she could not handle pressure.
It would have been great if Gilbert Gottfried read it.
