Write about rap and hip hop. There are lots of things you could talk about within hip hop and rap respectively. If you make a list of things you can talk about, perhaps artists, different genres, the culture associated with it, etc., you can make it a page a topic. Maybe two pages a topic. I'm sure you could do that.
And if you double space, it'll take you even less time. ;)

why dont you write about racism?
I suggest one of several things; the first being music--be it a genre, an innovation, an artist--whatever. Aside from music, I recall doing an essay some time ago about the history of electronic gaming.. and, I'd suggest this one as a thesis, tbh. It's pretty interesting, if ya ask me.
Other than that, I got nothin'. Good luck t' ya, and hopefully, regardless of what you choose, you at least pass. (Set the bar low ftw.)

I actually agree 100%, my good friend had one of her college composition classes and the theme was Hip Hop which was very interesting actually. It discussed everything from tupac to NWA and lots in between.Quote:

Here's an idea, write something about the lack of work ethic in the modern student. Touch on such things as a lack of ingenuity and reliance upon the internet. If you're lucky, you'll get an A for writing something you didn't come up with.
