Onrpg is getting softer to WoW, in the past Onrpg hatred for WoW could be seen from miles away.

I hope this game goes f2p with cs.
Wow the Darkfall forums are very active 2161 members and 1827 guests online right now O_o looks like alot of people are interested.
Darkfall is so good that they can't even properly enable the pre-order system.
I would honestly love to see someone on DF just say "l0l wow clone" and start up a huge argument over something so small.
Watching some videos on DF, bleh, gameplay seems uhh okay? sort of...not really. seems like a physical type player will pawzone a caster type seeing as how the spell goes straight and you can easily move to the side of it.
it is funny that more then half the people commenting on its failure and such have not even played it, other people complaining about the price because it is a new company? wow you have no clue at all.
I'd prefer a Mount and blade MMO. Graphics are GOOD but does not require some insane system to run it. Combat is fair and its a fairly decent game considering its single player
It does have to be said however.
The forums for this game are laughable. Filled with elitists, children and complete idiots.
If you watch the walkthrough video the dude says something to the tune of "i'm doing this so I can level up... skill up I should say... some people are gonna yell at me"
Kind of says something about the community, amirite?
So I am still trying to even get a glimpse at the pre-order and now the forums have crashed and the account page is yet to work. This is looking up!>_>
why would I pay 500$ for an almost 6 year development half-assed unfinished game that I cannot even try before I even get to spend such ammount of money and with hopes of "getting better at some point" when I could pay less for a polished game and play something enjoyable? :stare:, there's the tricky questionQuote:
the 500 dollar thing.. I dont take that back because its true.. why would I pay 50 dollars or whatever to play Warhammer or something when I could play something actually enjoyable..
I see so many people bashing WoW on these forums that it's pathetic. I played WoW for 3 years. I enjoyed my time there. While it was overly easy, and highly generic it is still a very fetching game. When one person can give me one solid reason to bash WoW, I'll start hating it. Not one of the following:
1 - WoW sucks because everyone says it does.
2 - WoW sucks because it copied all of the old school games. (Invalid arguement because every game does this today. No game is completely original anymore.)
3 - WoW sucks because Blizzard is the devil. (I know this excuse hasn't been used, but I'm covering it for the idiots.)
4 - WoW sucks because it's too easy. (No videogame takes much more than common sense. They're ALL easy. - Obviously my opinion.)
5 - WoW sucks because the PvP is horrible. (Not a valid arguement to hate a game, just an opinion.)
6 - WoW sucks because I played it to level 80 on 2 days. (Yes, I've heard this before. All I can really say is.. wow..)
I know there are a multitude of other reasons people seem to hate WoW. I just felt I should cover the most used, and most abused reasons I could think of. All of which are not well thought out reasons to bash on a game. WoW is the most successful MMORPG of our time. It has to be doing something right.
Also, I thought I should add in the fact that I left WoW because I found it got boring. That's just how I am. I can't stay with any one game for too very long. 3 years having been my longest so far. I'm just tired of watching the mindless masses bash on a game because their buddy said it was "fail". Form an original thought for a change. Challenge your mind to work higher than a third grade level. It's minds like these that put Bush in office. Grow a ****ing backbone and stand up for what you believe in. It's real simple. This is a wall of text. I have no fear of some nerd-rager beating me to death with his rants about how a game is horrible because he didn't like not being able to do what he wanted when he wanted.
