In the opposite sex?
A pulse, then it's pretty much straight forward.
Well, looks are important for the initial impression, but once contact has been made, personality and brains are much more important.
as far as looks go, I find girls like her attractive

Brown armpits?
looks first(first attracted by looks), then personality(finishes the deal). If im not attracted physically then theres no point gettin to know em.
I can honestly say personality. Then brains. Then looks. I'm not a shallow person when it comes to my women. Personality is the most important...but she can't be dumb as shit either. When I talk to her I want her to understand what I'm saying and be able to converse with me about it.
Then looks. Looks are important, don't get me wrong...but they are less important than other qualities.
Thankfully, I found a girl with all 3 :)
Brains, then personality. I personally like people who disagree with me on everything and loves to argue with me and never give up. Then looks.
I realized how messed up I am after I typed this........
Personality
Brains
Looks
All of the above.
Yeah.
What about if you're not looking for the opposite sex...?
Personality is a definite first.. there doesn't need to be a strong physical attraction at first because that sort of thing grows. Brains don't bother me too much... as long as the person is coherent.
Personality first. Brains second. Looks third.
I know what inspired this thread.
To be honest I want looks and personality. For looks she doesn't have to be OMFG SHE SO SMOKING HOT she could just be a simple plain cute looking girl. She can be a simple plain cute looking girl with a great personality. ;)
I'm talking about the people who will scope out the beauty from across the room, and try to make it with her...and leave the average looking, perfectly compatible girl they were just sitting next to feeling inadequate and sad. Thats what I meant.
A lot of times, yes...but shouldn't the person your dating also be a friend? Thats what I meant. Personally, my girlfriend is also my best friend.
well someone will find them beautiful, if they didnt then they wernt meant to be. To me physical attraction is the first key, then personality seals it. you gotta have both or it prob wont work. and who your meant to be shouldnt be "average" lookin to you, they should be the most beautiful women lol.Ive thought a girl that most guys didnt think was gorgeous, was straight up beautiful.
I'm sorry for breaking your bubble, but gays are no different than straight people in that respect. We aren't creatures from another planet.. we have a human brain and we act just like a human should.
What's funny is that your "observation" is probably only directed towards the stereotypical gay... the only kind you're able to point out in a crowd. In that case, they obviously have the same interests. There are probably a good few dozen gays at your school that you would imagine to be straight.
I think first thing you look at in the person is their actualy sex.....Unless you're bi...I guess...
Female, good personality, looks (need some sort of physical attraction). In order of importance
Anyone who says that looks don't matter is straight out lying.
The first thing you are attracted to (usually) is how the person looks, if that passes, then personality and intellegence are up, if either of those don't pass then you pass on them.
There's not really 1 thing that i look for. Can't really choose one thing that matters the most, it's just if they 'fit' with me or not :o Don't know if that makes sense.
