yeah it seems like getting the right pet and weapons really matter...:( i got one with a wolf also and didnt lose once..

The chances of her pulling out the club are 1 in 3 and the plus side is your bear can tank a lot of damage. You should be able to win unless your brute just does something stupid like not pulling out any weapons at all.
