I've not played in awhile but from what I remember yes you RENT weapons, not actually buy them. I think you can rent them for different amounts of days. Like you can buy a weapon for 1 day, or 30. I might be wrong tho...
It is worth playing, but 90% of the community hacks. Why? Because the wallhack in Combat Arms in undetectable, easy to do, and you no way in hell can get banned because they wont have proof of you doing it. It is obvious when someone does it tho just by the way they kill you. If someone starts shooting before they actually see you, as in they are on the other side of a wall and pre-fire, they are hacking. Also if the same person keeps being able to know where you are, like every time they enter a room they know your exact location and their fire time is beyond humanly possible, they are hacking. Besides the many hackers, it is a fun game.

I think weapons/items can last 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 3 months. I find combat arms cashshop stupid and a waste of ingame gold as well as cash.Quote:

The hacks and hackers have been reduced drastically. All because Nexon decided to block Brazilians from playing a couple weeks ago.
Which imo was a good move. Brazilian hackers are hacking alot of mmo's and
need to be blocked. I got nothing against brazilians...just brazilian hackers ruin it for their whole country.
