Free Realms, seriously...Its perfect for a f2p game and it acts like a p2p game.
Club penguin, its decent for little kids...
I mean, i dunno why, but kids mmos are actually ruling the f2p market...Their really good games actually and better than these korean grinders...That's one thing that Korean/japan/ or what ever, doesn't have.
Just because they are good doesn't mean they are ruling the f2p market o_O. Do you mean they are better then then most mmo's coming out ???

Free Realms just came out. I'm sure it is not ruling the market. I can say Wizard101 might be seeing as how I am seeing commericials for the game. GPotato doesn't even have commericials but they are making quite a few bucks, so idk :/
Wizard101 isnt that good IMO, its fun.
Free Realms also aint good IMO, I didnt like it, I think its innovating in some aspects like each job evolving differently, thats why some people like it, and it explains the hype. But it has a "max f2p level" and that ruins everything IMO and it will soon vanish.
Pirates online sucks.

The games who rules F2P market are Flyff, MapleStory, Maginobi and Runescape.
Together they gather a GREAT part of f2p mmorpgers
Wizard101 is p2p.

Free realms, pets, karts, clothes, everything costs real money.

These games are western, not the multiple generic crap that comes from the east anyways.

There's a little thing called personal preference broski. And in my personal preference, every game you listed sucks donkey dick except for freerealms.
Just because you think those games are good, doesn't mean everyone else does. Those games are designed for kids (ie. you) thats why they are so good, but someone who is much older may think otherwise.Quote:

The biggest difference between the current korean mmos is graphic style. But even that is falling into generic molds, gritty anime or cartoony happy-go-lucky anime.
In the end you're still grinding for hours and hours to reach max level for your reward: standing in town while the new players who will all quit in a week drool over your over the top shiney armor and giant glowing weapon.
This is why wow was able to be so successful, it has end game content, so when you reach maxlevel you're basically starting a whole new game. Its how they KEPT players which allowed them to make a shit ton of money and upgrade the game to its current state which no company can match with otu spending billions on game production.
ANd wow is the reason we have games like runes of magic. It's so much easier to make money by copying things than it is to make origional stuff. Almost every feature from ROM can be pinpointed to the mmorpg they took the idea from, most of it is wow but there are a lot of small features taken from games like FFXI and warhammer (newly added public quest system)
