Hmm. Did you google for Patches? (Sorry, haven't have this issue it)
I played on Vista with no problems (Except for when I tried to get Yuffie I got an error). So I was just wondering.
yeah i tried pretty much every patch there is, i read about the hi res patch that would fix AA problems but it doesnt seem to be working for me =/ maybe cause ultima isnt an official version?
i start to get afraid the only posible fix will be going trough tons of older drivers :(
XP patch? then you can enable the "fake but so real" D3d

that sounds like a reasonable fix.
If you're talking about the PC version, why even waste your time with it. It's got so many bugs it's literally unplayable.
There's a major glitch in the PC version during Cloud's flashback in Kalm. Dyuring the battle against the dragon, Sephiroth won't have his Masamune equipped so all of his attacks will miss (and he only uses the Attack command in that battle) so it's impossible to get past that part.
There was a video of it on Youtube, but it's gone now I think.
