Well, he's right, it's exactly the same as in DnF. They should've atleast changed the fonts lol

Dude, the swordsman and ghost knight's dashing attack and combo are exactly the same. Go download the Ghost Knight minigame off the DnF website if you don't believe me. The other characters were too far off for me to tell, but I suspect they stole some frames from the fighters, too.
EDIT: After watching the video again, I noticed that they stole some frames from the Gunner, as well.

Well, theres no doubt in my mind, that this is definitely taking from DnF, it's not a full on clone like the Monster Hunter one though, I'd just chalk this up as the now budding arcade side scroller genre? Meh.

its room based? or its like dragonica?

Maybe if this game wasn't room-based or maybe if it was a 3rd person shooter, I would be more amazed. Dungeon Fighter is gonna be hosted by Nexon in NA soon anyways. The characters look lame, while 2 remind me dangerously of some other characters from some other games.

who said anything about it being roomed based? o_O 2D side scroller that is room based sounds weird to me.

By room-based he means instanced, I think.
DnF works with instances "rooms", so I don't see what's weird.

Wait, what? I forgot what instanced means. Mind explaining to me what I might have meant to say? Cause what I meant to say was I thought it was gonna be like one of those games where you have to make a room and crap like in Grand Chase.
Isn't that the only room-based way?

That looks.. boring?
DnF is room-based in the way that you go to your own map after leaving town, and only people in your party may join you.

Then you are wrong. They don't work like that, you don't make "rooms", you make a party and proceed to enter a dungeon with them.
The only thing that works with rooms (at least on DnF) is PvP.
Candyholic explained what an instance is.

No, you can play a crappy, uninspired knock-off of DnF.
Just wait for DFO, or play Arad.

played the tw version a few months back, since there is also a lack of DnF vibe going on at my place. but this clone is nowhere near DnF's quality.
The fighting is a bit choppy, combos don't go smooth at all. There are literally no class system, for when you reach end game, all you do is maxing out all the weapons level. At the time of my departure, everyone was a plate wearing wizard, killing each other in the open pvp maps where the ultimate cash ***** wins...oh if you die in an open map, you drop stuff from your inventry too, not that people will die that easily with CS rez pot...
That's what I figured. Chinese DNF is notorious for its jacked-up cash shop prices, and the overall greediness of the people who run it. You only get one free continue coin per day, versus three on the other versions. Also, the game is much more difficult than the other versions, essentially forcing people to use the cash shop for coins and whatnot.
I wonder just how many frames of animation they stole, especially considering how many I was able to point out from just a two minute video.

The characters are kinda ugly. Their heads are turning in an odd position considering their chest orientation.

Their okay looking.. but all the equipment looks like they were made to lure little kids into vans.

They probably used whatever sprite base they could that would easily allow them to steal animations from DnF.
Considering the quality of cDNF, just about any cheap knockoff they came up with would attract players to their "new" game.

The game really does seem to copy a lot from d&f while lacking a lot of what made d&f fun. Judging from the videos, the skills themselves look pretty bland and something about them just looks ugly (probably the fact that most of them seem to be ripped out of d&f, recolored, and barely animated). z00m mentioned earlier from his experience with the game that "The fighting is a bit choppy, combos don't go smooth at all" and just looking at the videos it seems like enemies barely react to anything and the skill selection itself looks like its made purely with individual skill effects in mind instead of combo possibilities.
Also, I noticed from one of the videos that they even stole the "style, technique, hit" system, parts of the town mimic d&f's town, and it does the zoom in + slow down thing when bosses die. The music just seems very boring to me in general. The fact that you can customize your character a little at creation seems like a nice touch, but since the customization still seems pretty limited and since appearance options don't seem to change between the four 'classes', I suspect it causes less variety in appearance later on.
Still, if nothing else it seems like it may at least be a half-decent game to kill time with when not playing d&f itself, but I think I'd choose Dragonica or a few other games as a side-game first.
