Remake of the first silent hill game, this one features no weapons, nor loading screens this means the monster will chase after you and you cant just pop in and out of an area to lose them
It's only for the wii and ps2 I believe the graphics though look amazing.
Also the Regular Silent Hill fire consumed rusted world is now replaced with an ice covered frozen waistland
Awesome! Silent Hill 1 was definitely my favorite SH of all time! I can't wait for this game to come out.

they are trying to focus more on the horror aspect. Harry wasnt much of a fighter so it was unrealistic for them to give him a gun and have him have automatically know how to operate it. With this you are constantly running and are under stress, the only way to live is too hide reallyQuote:

meh, ice was never scarier than rusty stuff and demons chasing the hell out of you in the dark spitting blood thru their guts and then you suddenly find death babies in an abanadoned school all pitch black dark and all "rustied"

On the more serious note, no weapons = not realistic. Hell, even a 5 year old girl would pick up a rock and throw it at a monster if she was surrounded. You don't need to be a fighter to pick up a pipe and swing. The monsters are ninjas, they don't require a triple black belt to kill/knock out.

and when was there a bazzoka in silent hill? The best weapon I know of was the shotgun or sub machine gun (not including home coming, it wasnt worthy of the silent hill title)
It was a joke that I guess failed. For me, REAL horror games are Dead Space. I was so scared of playing that game I stopped playing it.....Seriously.....Even though you have an arsenal of weapons, if you ran out, you're screwed.
Dead Space was one of the few games where I was screaming "GET OFF ME, GET THE FCK OFF ME" when a monster jumped on me. It's intense moments like the ones in Dead Space that classifies it as horrific.Quote:

*monsters close in, next to you lies a pipe*
*you try to use the pipe but konami made you to stupid to use the pipe*
this scenario has 2 endings
a) the monsters close in, you die
b) the monsters slip over a frozen puddle and you lol at them and then run like hell, only to have the same thing happening over and over again.
GJ konami, atleast give you character SOMETHING to protect himself, or is he to dumb to know how to wield a kitchen knife?
