Well, this week on the KR front we've seen some good movement, but no new titles have been able to creep into the fight. Now the biggest shift was D&F going from 10 to 7 this week after being 10 for like 2 months with an increase of 1.18% Market Share. I've not heard of any real updates for the game that would explain this, so I am going to chalk it up to some KR schools releasing a little early for summer vacation (Tends to usually be in Mid-July, but can vary.) or people simply slacking off to play something to pass time between studies for mid-terms. Warcraft 3 and WoW did their little dance switching places, Lineage slipped a bit, and Aion (2.94% Share drop from last week) saw some of it's people move back to Sudden Attack for a bit.
Overall, we saw a 1.61% Market Share increase which should bounce up and down within the next month as Secondary School kids get out for the summer. With the World Cyber Games 2009 coming up in November in China we're gonna see SC, WC3, Sudden Attack (Practice for CS 1.6 honestly), FIFA, and D&F heavily played as teams prep for the tournaments. I'm still pretty excited at the prospect of the SC2 Beta and Battle.net 2.0 being rolled out within the next month as well since we could start seeing some flux in the environment.
