Oh how I was wanting to get baptised by him, damn. ;_;

Yea I agree~ damn mechanics and their robots and grenades...:-/
although...any class can be annoying if you know how to use it right~ lol.
and you will surely get a lot of hate and distaste from the english community that pvp you~ lol
yea hes gonna look different~ kinda like this picture, but with the hair not tied and the clothing that covers his whole body.

Ew. Hate to lose to that in the bar. :/
Asiankid0 what classes are there and what are the features to each?
IMO it is OP in a way...usually fashion isn't overpowered but when you make it so that's the only way to look different I feel that it is...though they do let players sell it to other ones so that really makes it more even...though at the same time that makes it so players can basically buy gold from the item shop >>
oho? really...never knew that. Yea honestly, nothing could touch my phys exorcist when I was running dungeons~ even if they did hit, I was impervious thanks to the super armor...gawd that saved my arse so many times lol.
and each character, as you can say, has 4 jobs, with the priest having 3. I am not sure of what the DFO version are called (again, I have absolutely no idea why they didn't just carry over the english names already given in the korean version....) but here are the character names and their classes:
Ghost Knight (Male)
-Asura
-Soul Bringer
-Berserker
-Weapon Master
Fighter (Female)
-Grappler
-Nen Master
-Striker
-Street Fighter
Gunner (Male and Female)
-Mechanic
-Spitfire
-Ranger
-Launcher
Mage (Female)
-Summoner
-Elemental Master
-Witch
-Battle Mage
Priest (Male)
-Infighter
-Exorcist
-Crusader
*Note - There is a fourth class called Avenger, but the class has not been implemented yet nor been updated as far as Korean DnF goes...
Only class that gets my attention from the Priest branch would be Avenger because I like the dark-hand-thingy skill. Not that we are getting the job soon...
if you guys like melee and want to experience the game the easy way, pick the Ghost Knight~ solid, good hp, good def, easy combos, pretty straightforward. Fighters are a good choice too, but they attack pretty damn fast, so if you cannot keep up with their attack animations, go with ghost knight instead.
hardest character to build in the beginning is the mage, mainly cause she has low dmg, low def, and low hp until you get her a job and leveled up a bit.
priest is another easy character~ his passive super armors makes him impervious to flinching/recoiling when hit.
the dark hand skill can be used by any class actually~ lol. Its one of those basic skills that are available for any class (heck, you can get it before level 18 and job change)
Freaking Mage. It's so much fun when you are charging up your skill and then you get a rock on your face.
@Asian: No no I know that. What I meant was that I would like the Avenger branch the most because it would have dark/evil related skills similar to the hand one.
The only game cash shop dependant that nexon has is Mabinogi. With the family system in MS, you can get 2x exp without wasting money.
No. Not really. I'll explain in the picture below:

All things outlined in red - Not required to play the game. Infact, I would say that spending money on this stuff is a waste.
*Note* Services like Nao or Storage are useful for beginners or if you want to make a guild however, it's better to learn to play without being nao spoiled because you can't use nao in some of the more difficult dungeons anyway (Gem dungeons, Baol Final etc) and you'll be a better fighter that way ;o
As for guilds, it's much better to join a pre established guild than to create a new one. They usually have better reputations, in game connections, and more experienced players :x
Advance play is just useless.
All things in green - items that are highly recommended. This is the only stuff that I recommend you spend money on.
All things in blue - Vanity items. Buy it once, make yourself look unique, and that's it.
There's a handy skill simulator on the kDnF website that allows you to plan your build before you make your character. Not only that, but people can post their builds and get ratings on them.
Part of the fun is making your own builds and see how they work out. To some researching might help, to others they might just choose the skills they find useful.
The game doesn't seem to be that condemning when it comes to choosing one skill over another. It's not Maplestory like where everyone must follow the same build in order to have the "best" character.
^ Yeah, pretty much.
You should be asking "which skills are the least used". Some people will stay away from certain skills because they are difficult to use or don't do that much damage. Halloween Buster, the last fire skill of Elemental masters, is an example of such.
huh.. so that's how you level so fast. I was just grabbing random quests and doing the dungeons for them o.o
