What is your most shameful MMO experience?
Mine would have to be either
1) Tricking some 12-year-old boy into thinking I was a girl so he would give me items. I was an 18-year-old college student at the time.
2) Humoring my 8-year-old nephew by watching him play Rumble Fighter. And then going home later and downloading it. I think I played it for like 6 months.
Playing hello kitty online and actually enjoying it.
When I used to tell people to go to the Wilderness in Runescape.
Then kill them and steal all their stuff.
i broke a 600mil+ worth G65 bow on KAL because i forgot to enchant the bow with a safety scroll ._.

-Miss clicked during "mass" pvp and ended up 1 shotting someone on my side (Lineage 2, backstab, 5k+ crit, oops.), we laughed it off...
-Headshotted a team member on C.S. as he flew off a shadow and reflexes kicked in.(I know, not a MMO)
I acted like I was a girl on Runescape. Some guy kept following me around. I blocked him, and he made another account. When I was like 78, I helped him out, and he was like, hey I remember you! I just quit after that.
On runescape, attempting to do the dragon slayer quest a few years back i MADE my friend lend me his full rune w/ chain, then i forgot the dragonfire shield >.>
this just in now...

that is neither shameful or stupid, it happens, i've done the same on a level 70 Shadowknight on EQ1.
I logged onto LaTale for the first (and only) time in closed beta. ;/ I got bored after around 10 minutes of play, so as I left the game on with my character sitting on the screen, I **********d then turned it off.

I scammed people on Diablo II waaaay back when I was 14 years old.
I'm not sure if it still works today after all those patches but back then there was a neat little trick you could do to scam people's items off them.
I always went into diablo run servers, waited until one of the players there died, then spread a huge bunch of cheapass items around their corpse. Once they came back, they usually clicked really fast on their corpses, to be able to get back into the fight. Most of them clicked on the cheapass items I put there 2 or 3 times before actually clicking their corpse. Which means, they picked up 2 or 3 crappy items, then once they clicked their corpse, they would auto drop most of their corpse inventory items because their real inventory was already full with my crap items xD
All I had to do was stand next to them and quickly pick up their good stuff ^^
I collected some pretty damn neat gear like that.
But yea I feel kinda sorry for it today, I think I made many players quit because of that =/
