I downloaded the WoW client and everything, I can't play without having the Wrath of the lich king downloaded on because I own it now.
Do i have to download the burning crusade also and then wrath of the lich king, or just the lich king?

i think you will need Burning crusade first after the lich king (not sure hopefully someone can correct me if im wrong)
well the order goes WoW>Burning Crusade>WotLK so im guessing you already have Burning Crusade so yes install that too.
Lolwut. Just a few weeks back I thought I'd try something weird just for the heck of it and whaddoyaknow? It worked. I installed whole WoW just by installing it from the Lich King dvd's. Worked perfectly.
need to instal starting from vanilla going to TBC and then wotlk ... :) only that way it works and then after wotlk instaled need to downlaod patches.

It didnt work, so I am restarting it now and I know how to do it now. I am going to download the fileplanet version instead since the blizzard download manager says it requires 15gigs of free space again....
When i download the fileplanet version, its about 6 gigs...is that about right? I think it includes the patches also, the latest patches, correct me if I'm wrong please.
Also, how do i extract it or what ever when the download is done?
