You dont need to hack any client to make a private server. Even for WoW all you do is change the wtf file

it's not so much "hacking" as it is "emulating" and reverse engineering done on the game itself, this is something hard to do depending on the game, for example, FF XI it's night impossible to emulate since the login screen it's thru the client manager squaresoft provides that connects to the server itself

I lol'd when I read it in Tera's official website FAQ's. I personally think we got another Chronicles of Spellborn on our hands. It will come out as P2P, but then go F2P. I called TCoS and now I'm calling Tera too.

TCoS was made by a very small indie company, Tera is made by a large well funded company which is run by some of the orginal dev team of Lineage 2

I've never played it cause they don't have a free trial, but I've heard some really bad things about Lineage 2. So having some of the original dev team is not a selling point.

Game is good, just has a bit of a bot problem
but game has 2 million subs world wide (most of them are in its native korea though)
