I am actually quite amazed at this as I would never expect it to happen. I guess that means make sure if you marry a Japanese she has forfeited her Japanese citizenship when she marries you (either for your citizenship or already has it).

That's really ****ed up, I say give the man his kids back.
Japan knows that the woman is at fault, and not the man.
Yet they think the japanese are better than the americans,

But I also agree, because he DID go to Japan, snatch the children, and run away.

Yes Japan's government is prejudice of ever race but their own.
It's really hard to become a citizen in Japan when you are not full blooded Japanese.
That is one of the things I hate about Japan. Although a lot of the people I met while traveling there are pretty nice. If you make an attempt to speak their language and respect their culture.

From the article and the video, Japan really needs to review how it will treat these sort of cases.

If Japanese law is anything like Canadian law the charges against him won't stick. A) They're his children, he's free to do as he wishes with them. B) They're not Japanese citizens and therefore in the country as illegal immigrants.
And his ex-wife is a moron for running to Japan. She'll probably be considered a disgrace to her family for breeding with a foreigner.
The kids we're born in America; has the ***** even filed for dual citizenship yet?
If the kids have been living in the States all their lives, I don't think they would want to move to Japan.
