Glad to see it finally has a release date, I've been wanting to try this. I have a question though for anyone who has played it before or knows a lot about it. Since Shmups are by nature very fast and very short, does this game have a lot of grind, have some sort of fatigue bar (like DFO/Atlantica), have something else that acts as a timesink/restriction, or does it really just go by very fast without much lasting appeal? I remember seeing it boasting about have over 100 stages or something similar to that, but even with 100+ stages I feel that could very easily be gone through in a single week.

grind is "normal" and not really important in that game. You never feel grind because you having fun to play this game ^^ (feels like the old arcade games)

The game is very hard in the end + it depends on your class and teamwork

its a good game. Just wait for it ;)

Frankly once you get to later stages Swordsmen have it a lot harder. Being at melee range gets you killed by bosses. Frequently.

It's a pretty interesting idea to be honest. From watching a few videos I can tell it isn't that much of a bullet hell (which is fine by me). So, I'm guessing you can form parties, of how many members? 4 would sound reasonable.

Oh, and it seems it DOES have a stamina bar:

"Stamina points affects how many times that you’re allowed to engage in a stage.

This means that you wouldn’t be able to rush madly, or even spend your entire day playing the game without resting at all.

To get back your stamina, there are several ways to do it. One of them is to listen to the music that people play. The other ways to recover includes cooking and fishing and regenerating SP at night. Each have their own special way of getting back SP."

The game is very hard in the end + it depends on your class and teamwork

its a good game. Just wait for it ;)

there's a stamina bar, you can refill it by fishing / playing music / listening to music.

actually the old english version we've all played has completely changed (especially the pvp aspect)
btw there'll be at least 2 closed betas, so i'm expecting ob to be november / december

Its most probably a closed beta.

For you info, the main company, JCE, is undergoing some business transaction back in Korea. Apparently some media company is going to buy them over, according to financial reports.

Don't be too happy just yet, they could have a long delay till OBT.
