I took philosophy in high school so I'm familiar with modus ponens, tolens, and a bit of syllogism. Hypothetical syllogism sounds like a sushi side-dish at a Thanksgiving dinner. I'll look at it later. Thank you though for the elaboration.

They taught you that in high school? My high school philosophy class was a joke!!

It only takes a few minutes to look them up and get a good understanding of what they mean. Don't let the fancy words scare you.

It was only the last two chapters of our book. And the notation was vastly simplified from what I'm currently looking at on my computer screen.

Took Introductory Philsophy in college.
