Since there's no more ONRPG night, any of you interested in playing a pug(pick-up game) every once in awhile? The steam group will post announcements when a pug is starting and you can join then. Games are 6v6, for people who want a taste of competitive play. :) The pug group is running on behalf of 5-Elements gaming community, but there are lots of times where we are short players, so I'm trying to get a few more regulars.
I think Bacn, Abubakr, and taiko have already played in a few.
This is for new players who have never played tried the competitive play-style of TF2 before, and want to learn. If you're new that's GREAT! That is what this group is all about, helping new people get into it! COME AND HAVE SOME FUN!
The games will be 6v6(we could do more if we have extra players). The normal class setup is: 1 medic, 2 soldiers, 1 demo, 2 scouts. Although it is recommended you play one of these classes, feel free to play whatever you want...we had lots of people playing different classes yesterday. We'll post announcements when a pug is starting and you can join, server info located in steam group. We'll have existing competitive players in on it too usually, so if you have any questions regarding competitive play, feel free to ask.
EDIT: Regarding teams, usually we'll pick 2 team captains at random and they will alternate selecting players, OR we will have everyone random.
That is all, THANKS.
any questions post here or add me on steam: Vexellent1

I've been pugging quite a bit with a few people from the group as of late. Never pugged before and it's rather fun.

Well it's more oriented for newer players. tf_teamtalk is now enabled as well, which allows you to comm with your team when you're dead.
Btw, what team are you playing for? I'm doing ESEA as well :)

Sweet. I've been pug'ing as Solly/Sniper before. Nothing too serious though.
6vs6 really change the mood of TF2.
I wish there were 9vs9 Highlander tourneys though. :(

Umm, then what does having ESEA for CS1.6/CSS have anything to do with TF2?
