I just started watching Gurren Lagann, and I'm pretty much addicted already. Hot chicks, guns, and giant mecha's, doesn't get any better, y'know?

I know this is a stupid question, but anybody ever watched this?

I stopped at episode 5, dunno why. Does it get any better?

It gets abit more emotional after Episode 8/9. However, I won't reveal any spoilers, unless you don't care. :V

Alot more action and alot more srs business, though.

Sci-fi channel use to show it I watched bits and pieces. I don't like it bores the hell out of me.

I watched all of it and i loved it

WARNING: you need a certain level of awesome to watch this anime.

There's a certain part in the anime where something happens to Boota that almost made me cry. :( Other than that, didn't really care for any other deaths, etc.

I don't like mecha animes.

Gurren Lagann my fav anime....god i love this anime its so badass..they should really make another season

I thought Gurren Lagann was one of the most ridiculously badass animes I've seen (not as in GAR badass). This anime actually has quite a bit of symbolic meanings in it as well, so it's not that shallow either, if it is at all.
