Okay I just saw this on a live feed and was like "WOW, online play? that's completely awesome"....
And now I'm thinking should I get it NOW while the online play is still thriving and good or wait a month or so and get it? Has anyone actually gotten it? I literally haven't seen or heard any news on this game.
I guess you can say it's been on the "low". It's been features in a few magazines but hasn't be praised to be popular. It's a title you definitely should check out. Been looking forward to it since 2007. It's had a name changed, got canceled at one point, and I even forgot about it.
I thought this was going to be a thread on 4chan. However I have no idea what White Knight Chronicles even is..
Tomorrow im getting this game, ive been wanting it since early january. The combat is more oriented toward FF 12 but not entirely that. When i say that i must mean the real time combat. The key difference is the combo system. You get to unleash combo's during your turn that you create yourself, pretty much they say no 2 characters will ever be the same which is nice.
Uhhh yeah it can go up to 4 player online. I don't know how it would work out but im guessing if they made FF 11 work out then this should.
Anyways they also say, that the main story is about 40 hours and the disc comes with at least 50 quest, which is hundreds of hours apparently
Also want it.
The Georama stuff in paticular interests me. Reminds me of Dark Cloud, one of my most favorite RPGs ever.
I'm getting it this afternoon, can't wait. :)
Playing it now. The game was a bit slow to start, but after certain events it became more interesting. So far pretty good. Not GOTY material or anything, but hey.

2) The bad thing about this is, your avatar does not speak. At all. Unless in combat, and is usually left out of the Scenes. This is just what I have experienced in the first...2-3 hours of gameplay.

So far I haven't seen my avatar do anything extremely epic in a scene, and that doesn't really bother me, but I wish I was at least acknowledged... I mean they ignore your character, or so far.
The good thing is, your character can be whatever he wants when it comes to customization. Making him a bad ass
