ANYWAYS...in my hour of need, I've turned back to MY roots...my punk rock roots. Its making me feel so much better. All these old songs I haven't heard in so long, because I've just been neglecting them.
I remember why my name is Oisterboy. I love this shit.
So, if anyone has ANY hard ****ing punk rock to share, help me get a sweet playlist going. <3
Like this...
I don't mind if you know lots about the punk scene and the bands are sellouts. If the shit sounds good to me, thats all that matters at this point. I'm not too proud...example:
Even more chill songs like this...so long as it has that raw sound...

XD Yeah, I meant my personal roots. Around the time when I started finding my OWN music (instead of just radio and stealing my dads cassettes) I was getting into punk music.
Not so much punks roots (I love the old school stuff though!) but where I started to develop love for music.
And thanks guys, all that stuff has been added to my playlist, or is on the agenda anyway. :]

I can't stand accents, so anything that has its origins in the UK or Ireland I completely ignore... I'm tolerant to a certain extent with crappy singers, Rancid does fine but some other bands don't meet the level I would like.
The Ramones maybe? I'm not sure if you want any Ska in here, but some of that still has a real punk feel to it. Mad Caddies ain't too bad.

In case you really don't know.
Punk Rock is just a sub genre to rock... Y'know like Alternative Rock, Classic Rock, Punk Rock, Pop Rock... you get it now?

This is a punk rock reply.
You've probably heard of a lot of these. I'll give you some more later, I can't think right now.

I know, I was just dicking around. ;)
Don't really listen to punk rock besides Green Day, but I guess that's a bad thing...?
