Champion of the Gods, Facebook, Cellphone and Browser

A few short weeks ago I released a brand new online browser game called Champion of the Gods.

I am sure you all are thinking OMG just what the world needs another browser based game, like there aren`t already enough in the world!

Champion of the Gods is a little different to most, taking the indepth and advanced gameplay from my existing game Lands of Hope, combining it with the more robust and advanced engine I developed for the 2d Graphical game Legendary Voyage and applying liberal amounts of Duct tape COTG was born.

COTG can be played in IE6+, Chrome, Firefox, Opera and other browsers directly at http://www.championofthegods.com/ it can also be played through facebook at http://apps.facebook.com/championofthegods/ and finally but perhaps the most interesting is that it can also be played on a cellphone!

You can connect to http://www.championofthegods.com/mobile/ using any handset with a compatible browser (we recommend the Skyfire browser http://www.skyfire.com) (You may be charge Data fees by your phone provider so make sure your plan allows for Internet usage), this means you can play the game from almost anywhere in the world as long as your cellphone has internet.

COTG is set during the Arthurian legends, King Arthur was killed on the battlefield 50 years ago by a campaign of war started by Morgana, both Merlin and Morgana were lost presumed dead in the same battle and Camelot was reduced to a ruin and a thing of legend.

You take on the role of a Peasant, *****, Noble, Explorer or Intellect at the start of the game with these different choices affecting the beginning levels of the game and having consequences throughout the 5000 levels of game play.

As you progress along the main quest of preventing the Reapers from taking control of the lands, you will get to choose your faith and unlock specialized abilities and choices.

Travelling through the lands you will unlock advanced weapons, armor and items and also gain followers that will make you stronger.
