That 1 billion could have gone to anything. I would have been very appreciative if they had put it to creating jobs or lowering tuition fees. I'm several thousand dollars in debt thanks to school and can't find a goddamn job anywhere.

they could spend that billion dollars on fixing our prehistoric subway system. but no, apparently not.

besides, the entire concept of the g20 is bullshit imo. if they really cared about saving money and not giving assholes an excuse to trash shit, they'd either a) hold it in some remote location or b) do a live conference over the internet. it's certainly possible, big businesses do it all the time.

anyways, I'll be glad when the downtown core is all cleared up later today.

Do u realize theres only 30million of us? 1 billion is noting for usa but its something for us. Actually, its enough to pay for all univerisity student's fees (tuition books res) for the entire year.

Why is the money not going into the education of our future leaders?

Why is the money not going towards the obsurd gas price?

Why is the money not supporting people who have lost their jobs because of the depression.

This is bullsh1t, we all have to pay for a few ppl to talk for 4 days, why can't they have a video conference ffs, its the 21st century.
