BoI > ToF
Yet, I wouldn't play either. Both are so incredibly repetitive.
Feel free to read my BoI review on onrpg, though.
Between those 2 games, BoI. Especially for a short term period say 1-2 weeks its good fun. After that time you come to realise its completely cash shop driven, and not using it will severely limit yourself. Also the "routine" kicks in, you basicly do the same events every day, all day. It will grow old on you real quick. Thats how it was for me anyway.
Yeah i did check the review out. And a few others, and i know they both are repetitive. But what f2p game isnt these days.
I go into games knowing im about to feel routine &grind.
Its not a big deal to me.
And if anyone has any other "decent" games, lemme know. Thanks
BoI is an awesome timewaster, i'd go for it. You get pretty cool cash shop items for free :O
Did you check Haven and Hearth? It's the best indie game I have ever played. The huge thread is still on the first page. Make sure you check that out. The servers are currently down, though.
well out of these 2 I would say BoI. :) has a much better game play. and the auto running to each quest is nice touch. No arguing or getting upset over locating what you need to do.
BOI>TOF
BOI is a really fun time waster
i vote for BoI too..
BoI.
In BoI the quests are non stop, you have so many to do that you'll be playing all day and when it's time for you to go to bed, you'll still have a boat load of quests to do the next day. (The quests are a bit repetitive and boring, but oh well) Also, the cash shop item is not necessary (not entirely) because you can earn points which I forgot the name of each day, how? By playing, yes, just by playing you get points. You can even keep the game on all night and still get points. When you have enough you can wear all sorts of nice fashion clothing.
Also, beginner armor looks awesome and is considered a fashion item. If you earn enough points you can get a warrior to wear a priests armor (which looks pretty darn awesome).
ToF isn't a good choice. Yes, there are TONS of quests to do, it'll hold you for a day or more but the quests are just so boring. Also, the interface is crap, there's no detail. In the beginner area it's just plain white snow.
The really awesome part about this game is that some quests require you to swim (which is always a win, hands down), and also, you can jump off ledges which is pretty awesome. Another good thing is that you can get a mount in the very beginning of the game. I got mine at level 10 and to get level 10 it only takes about an hour. The exp rate is pretty slow but that's not a problem.
I beta tested both these games so I don't know if they made any changes but for now, check out BoI.
i agree with starkler...
