This has been posted WEEKS ago. The site has been up for a WHILE and nobody is MOANING about the IP block.

Before you make another thread:

EU's closed beta will be in december 2010, the OB will be in Q1 of 2011.

Now, you might want to ask a mod to lock or delete your useless thread.

@neothaka: That's how it will always be.

On topic: The game has been IP blocked with a reason. The P2P system would lag like hell with someone from asia, someone from europe and someone from Brazil or something like that.

the difference is that you are not restricted from downloading/making a Nexon account....Maestia IP-blocks non-EU people from even making an account, let alone download the game.

you don't see people saying GTFO anymore...more like we don't care if you play as long as you don't host dungeons to lag the whole party and whatnot.

You're wrong. You actually need to have a North American IP when registering at nexon.net.

and how come i don't see any EU players begging to make an account for them? What, NA players are more lazy when it comes to figuring out a way to get past an IP block??

There's no IP block on account creation.
But there is once you try to log on ingame (as Mabinogi and other US nexon games)
I'm European, and I created 2 accounts last week, without any proxy, without any problems.

For Vindictus, as already stated, you only need proxy to login into the game, then you can deactivate it once logged in.
