Cheaper and again, you'll need to get a better GPU in it.
edit: I don't know any other UK based sites that offer prebuilt systems. I know there are other sites that sell individual parts, but I forgot the links of those.
Just build it yourself and save some money.
Just build your own computer. It's not hard.
Next time I build a new computer I will do a full video tutorial.
I may even add in how to configure it to run best.
But I won't be building my new computer until early next year.
Not until the new Nvidia GTX500 series comes out.
There are plenty tutorial videos like that out there but I will just add mine into the pile.
I paid $1200 for a laptop a few months back, and I'm just about 100% sure FFXIV won't run on it.
My desktop was around the same price and I bet I'll have FPS problems on medium.
I don't know how far you'll get with 600 euros.
FFXIV is unoptimized.
Probably one of the worst in optimization.
You can play most games at high or max with a computer build that costs around 500-600USD (not counting a monitor).
Of course that will change when new games like The Witcher 2 and Crysis 2 come out.
snowbunzz i want to look at cpu parts know of a good site? im in USA
I figured as much.
He specifically said he was wanting to play FFXIV, I don't know how much he even cares about old games. So he could buy a cheap computer that won't run the game and hope that SE does something about it soon, or he could buy a machine that'll run the game.
"I am really focusing on getting this pc to play Final Fantasy xiv"
