i agree the game is horrible, but it should have only been delayed 2 maybe 3 years, not 8. and it's not fair to compare to wow, that game is really something.

Every MMO is bad, deal with it.

I just got FF14 because I kinda enjoyed the beta. The game is crap in the unrealistic terms that people expect from a launch title, but its more fun then other games I've played lately.

Oh wait, time to beat the "X game is bad" dead horse again.

Tried the PC beta and seriously that UI is a frigging nightmare for keyboard and mouse users haha... well waiting for PS3 version since it seems this will play a lot better on console than on pc

Having a game be good enough to justify a $60 price tag + price of subscription isn't unrealistic. Shipping a game as un-optimized as this is, in my opinion, doesn't. If you think it is, great. But I don't. I want to like this game because it has so much potential with the multi-class idea.

I never expect much from the launch of any MMO. I intend to get FFXIV, but not for a month or two. The beta was fun, but the game still needs some work. I'll definitely be happy when they add the Auction House. (FFXI didn't start with one either, so hoping they add one to FFXIV.)

itself it is a problem when you try looking at the scenary and all you see its the same coat of paint for the terrain.

it make it very very ugly .

I agree with BFF report im a huge fan of his and i must say dude 2010 wtf how can you copy paste so many terrain like that , i feel that even snes games or even atari consoles at more variety

Normally I try to stay out of discussions about games I don't play or have no intention of playing........but I'm a "casual" gamer and yes, that much copy-pasting is a HUGE deal to me in ANY game.

lol well im just saying... i'm a casual gamer and i played the open beta and didnt really notice any terrain pasting... i even looked for it for a couple minutes then figured i could be doing something constructive and stopped lol...

I'm curious if FFXIV actually brought in new players other than the players from FFXI. Because so far, it seems only the most hardcore FF fans would love the game.

Square Enix has been having a hard time getting new players into Final Fantasy for a while now.

I wonder how long the free trial for ff14 will be.

the 40$ normal game is coming out tomorrow, will it come with a free month of play?
