People still manufacture and sell guns illegally, now thats theres a technology to enable easier and faster killing. What make you think they won't duplicate and sell them in the blackmarket?

I don't think you have to worry about some third world country/army spending their limited funds and resources to copy the latest weapon accessory, and one that fills a niche roll at that, instead of more cost effective items...

You know, like actual small arms, explosives, etc.
