I can't find a MMO that suits my needs, Hopefully Forsaken World does.

If you think WoW was fluid, you lack proper comparison. You should try out Lineage 2 even if on a trial, fluid is a concept that they master beautifully. I switched from L2 to WoW and it felt like I was playing one of the free mmo's. Granted, WoW is somewhat better than the free mmos but not by much. I think the only free mmorpg I considered fluid/responsive enough was Luna Online. Shame the community is ******ed because the game is made for role players and online daters. As well as that, the classes are basic and simplistic.
In each of my mmo requests, I specifically stated I needed responsiveness and it is probably the most important goal of the game. Simply because, without responsiveness/fluid abilities, pvp/combat/strategy is impossible. My last request was http://www.onrpg.com/boards/169151.html. I am yet to find a game comparable to L2 in the response/fluid category (not to mention pvp).
Just as an example of L2's gameplay, I thought it would be best / easiest to show one of finalElf's pvp videos. He was highly geared and highly intelligent with combat, knowing just who to target and when. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jDCSR_w7Ik#t=40s, key points being targets up to 1:20. Key points of the 2v1 is that he chooses the perfect target, knowing that he can't just nuke the healer w/ the nuker still ready. Realizing his only option is to land the cc, he stays on the nuker and uses the cc. Somewhat luckily, he lands it and then instantly switches to the healer knowing she is the only threat. After that, it was an easy win of a 2v1. Be sure to notice he ONLY ever moves if he has to kite to live. These are only some of the elements of a real strategic pvp, and L2 is filled with them.
-shit skill animations
-unable to windows mode (i multitask when playing although not important)
-invisible walls
-shit quest instructions
-fixed sprite that LOOKS SHIT.
- Gender-locked classes. Hate it so much.
- Locked at a resolution you can't change.
- Can't change the UI to fit your screen/move it to your liking.
Even more to the point, in my opinion, gender/race-locked items. If the item is a costume with no importance other than aesthetics, race/gender lock is fine. If it is gear/armor(With statistical reward) locked or specified to only certain classes, that is just laziness on behalf of the game developer. Learn to balance the stats so that classes typically use what items they are defined to. But, if a certain person is able to pull of a healer w/ a bow, I think they should be totally allowed to. Just because they are a healer, doesn't mean they necessarily need a staff and in some situations they really don't. If your party doesn't get healed much, and you would like to contribute some laughable but still existent damage than I welcome it!
L2's movement is pretty good aswell but what im talking about is to a slightly higher level i guess? For example to kite in wow as a hunter one of the things alot of hunters did was run forward jump turn around in mid air and fire a shot, turn back around and keep running straight. You could also strafe sideways and keep the target in the cone affect range.
To move like that in wow you had to keybind everything, hold down the right mouse button all the time while moving so you had the extra control and use wad to move (notice how i dont say "s" because people that backpedal in wow are at a disadvantage)
Alot of players in wow dont even know you can play like that so its hard to describe. Most just move with the arrow keys or wsad and click their abilities rather than keybind so it hinders their movement alot.
- No WASD movement, I mean we're in the year 2010 now and if you would still not have that then there is something wrong.
- Skill/Spell delay.
- Horrible customer support.
- Horrible graphics, at least get some decent graphics or just get your own style.
- No End-Game content.
Nexon.
.
for me personally, its
-camera control
-movement like not being able to jump
-instances not being hard enough
-no raids
-the usual f2p upgrade system of getting items to +10 or 15 or what ever i cant stand it and 99% of the time requires cash shop and makes you extremely op.
if a game has/lacks any of those i wont play it.
and of course no endgame/progression content is the one thing that will make me never try a game. for me personally there is no reason to play a game if there isn't something i can compete for like world firsts/server firsts and what not, and thats probably why wow is the only game i stick with, because theres the hardcore community of guilds who try to beat each other to certain challenges not to mention arena tournaments
GearScore.
Derpderpderp.
Fixed camera in a 3D game.
one thing i hate about the direction wow is going now is that its so take the gear not the class/player now, especially with how it seems like every class can do every buff now, wtf 3 classes with bloodlust/hero now, and every single totem a shaman has, other classes have better versions that don't need to be juggled through out the fight.
The mmo can be ruined by game features and all the things mentioned. But also a bad economy and community can ruin it for me.
-_-
I don't understand the mention about worthless jump lol
Ok most games the jump is worthless but it doesn't, in any way, ruin the game. It's just worthless o.o
To me little things that wll make uninstall a game :
- No wasd movement in a recent game.
- Bad camera control.
- Skill delay.
- Horrible character appearance.
- UI lag/delay (I don't care if UI is ugly as long at it's effective)
There's probably much more little things I'm not thinking right now, that may just make me exit the game.
- No Invert Y-Axis Mouse Option
most games don't let you jump over stuff you know :S
Wow only has good fluid moves? Haha. Hopeful u r jk.

Brazilians ruin everything I enjoy.
Broken or useless features that are still programmed into the game.
Example, the PK system in Luna Online.
Usually I side with people who fight gankers, but I feel bad for them in Luna because there is NO reason to ever go into PK mode in that game unless you for some reason feel like losing all of your money and deleveling many times.
Other games have fun, decent reasons to go into PK mode, but not this game.
....
I won't lie, I'm bitter from a negative experience I had. >.<
Also, games with no ignore options.
AGAIN, LUNA YOU FIEND (unless they fixed this recently) and also in Legend of Edda where the Gold Spammers have arrived.
Characters who walk weird.. lol XD
