I'm 23 and live in Canada. so no :]
This effects non-Americans. If you like any M rated game that has been made by an American studio, if this goes the wrong way we could easily see the end of that. Even studios outside the US would be effected because when planning a game they would have to think "Well I can't sell this in the US, so only T rated content."
Just because its a US Court case doesn't mean its not a global issue.
It doesn't effect me at all, so I don't really care.
regardless, from the first I saw of this, I've never thought that the opposing side had a leg to stand on. I don't think there's any chance that this will go through.
This won't increase piracy.

Here's a nice little summary of what the facts of the case are about and what the issue is.
It's interesting to note that the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals struck down the law, but they get overturned by the Supreme Court more than any other Circuit XD
The 9th is kind of a running joke in American Law, but this is one case they weren't wrong on.Quote:
