Don't forget Raiden saying goodbye to his wife and kid, becoming an armless butt-kicking cyborg, then getting arms, then needing blood dialysis to fight more, and then saving Snake's life from Vamp!

If you watch MGS1 backwards (saving Otacon instead of Meryl) it was pretty much the action packed version of Brokeback Mountain.

If you watch The Mist backwards its about a man getting into his car and shooting a woman, his son, and two old people, then driving to a super market while meeting demons from another world traveling through mist to buy some food.
