I recently saw "Mongol" that starred Tadanobu Asano (my favorite Japanese actor), it came out in 2008 but it's very, very good. It's about Genghis Khan and how his life was as a child to the point where he rose to power and became one of the most legendary conquerors in history. I suggest that as well.

Another movie I suggest is "Joong-cheon" (The Restless) that came out in 2006. Action/Fantasy Korean movie about a man who almost dies from being poisoned from villagers since he had a bounty on his head and he somehow ends up in purgatory but is somehow alive. The music was amazing in this movie.
And it also had Kim Tae-Hee <3

OISTER, FOR WU TANG AND ADVENTURE TIME, YOU ARE NOW OBLIGED TO IT!
Really though, you definitely don't have to, I can easily put this burden on someone else.
lol
I change my vote to the 1953 movie, Robot Monster.
Pursuit of happiness ?
edit: And a +1 to spirited away.
Most of us voted Scott Pilgrim and 2 other movies( I think The Goonies and The Warriors)
