Is there a summoner or pet-based archetype?
Finally found a game i don't lose interest in.
Loving my glacier at the moment. :)
Can i get an invite to the guild? Omega Frost@Henzy23

The first one is Inferno and the second Blade or w/e is the name of that class/archetype.

And what are YOU talking about?
G sign? There's no reference to a G sign anywhere in my post...
Wow. Subscribing players are referred to as Gold members, and free players are referred to as Silver members. That's common game knowledge. I don't know where you got C members from. Certainly not from me.
If they changed to gold/silver/copper, then I didn't catch it, because I was still referring to them as global/national/local, and so was everyone in zone chat.
When I edit my posts I don't delete anything. I keep it as is and add an edit remark at the end. You can't rewrite history or take back things you said.
I never said you could change your power set...
I can see your point, now, though. I never bothered to change skills because it never gave me the option to. I only went inside the room to gain new powers, and never went inside unless I had points to spend. It only ever gave me the option to change the most recent one, which lead me to believe that you couldn't change the anything, only what you just purchased.
Horrible misunderstanding, on both our parts, I think.
I agree with the limited amount of skills you get per archetype and arn't privy to the whole skill set. Theres a few blade skills i would've liked and would have actually made my time on CO alot more enjoyable (Bountiful chi :(). But then again I can still be competitive in both arenas and im actually doing better in the unrestricted arenas. I dont think theres very minor differences, I don't know about other classes but my class the blade can actually be built in four different ways, dps-dot, straight dps, dps-aoe and tank so I don't think thats a minor differences if you have 4 different playstyles in 1 class.
Yea, it went F2P and I instantly missed Gadgeteering cause of it :(
That can actually be said for most games, if not all mmorpgs but I agree with you in that we should have access to the full skill set and decide how we build our character, one of the things holding me back from buying archetypes. Then again we are playing for free and they have to make money somehow. Im actually suprised at how they even get money from their cashop seeing how most are aesthetics and the only ones that are worth it are the adventurepacks, the extra bag spaces and archetypes.
1. How many F2P superhero games have you seen?
2. How many adults/children who read comics or dream of being a superhero play the game?
3. To create your ideal superhero, what would you settle for... what you have or what you can afford to flesh out your superhero?
TBH, there is a lot of potential for silver member players to spend a lot of money, especially when the CS has the costume parts and more being developed.
I have already seen many silver members who spent a little to a lot just to get the parts they want to create their ideal superhero.
I personally wouldn't mind the cybernetic/steampunk parts to fine tune my main character. From what I seen, that would be about $20 bucks worth of costumes parts.
Then you got those F2P players who are not satisfied with just having 2 character slots.
Overall, the CS items will make them quite a bit of $$.
Can't wait to see more superhero genre MMORPGs come to the F2P market. That's if they are done right with a proper CS.
Only thing I think that would make this ideal is if they allowed you to earn CS $$. Maybe through earning perks and adjust the CS shop by increasing the prices by about 20%.
Also, look at Turbine. You can earn TP through the gameplay and they still make huge profits. Its all about how you catch the eye of the average MMORPG gamer.
there isn't really much to choose from if i might say :/ because best looking costume parts are locked but if u sit at it for like hour or more u can make something incredible ... as for me i made
These two simple skins ...

I'm going to be trying this game out tonight... What should I be expecting? Tips would also be appreciated.
inferno is a Ranged Burst DPS archetype, if you like that sort of role then yeah, the inferno it's pretty good at itQuote:
AH ok, well Kaji@MaliceMeister. and also which archetype is a good pve wise? i chose inferno and was wondering if its good? and also which travel power is more useful throughout the game? (as a silver member?)
as for travel powers, they are all equally the same in some aspects, Teleportation it's extremely useful but can be a pain to use, flying it's always on and reliable but does not excel at anything, etc etc
just choose what you want according to the flavor of the Hero you want to create
Just pick what you like, it'll make it more fun. Isn't that the whole point of videogames? To have fun? Picking an archetype that's "good" doesn't mean you'd have fun; besides, chances are that archetypes will be nerfed and buffed as time goes on.
All travel powers are good (the free ones at least), but some are more prevalient than others depending on your archtype. For PvE, they all are good but if you pick a melee archetype, than flying won't be so great. It still goes to say that you should pick what you like best, which is ever more fun for you.
I loved teleportation haha.
Hm, well i did choose inferno, its pretty fun but the travel power is kinda bleh to me, seeing as superspeed is annoying, i had this one mission where the entrance is on top of a building, and took me a while to figure out to jump of resenance centre. thx for the input though ^^
Are any of the silver member archetypes able to summon pets?
Nope, most of the powers are locked into Freeform. Don't mind though, theres alot of powers that would never get picked even so.
This is just asking for tron lovers who like blue streaks behind them... If only they became walls xD
Anyone want to add my Inferno to the SG?
Zilart@Minoske
Thanks poeticas for inviting me earlier but I actually just subscribed to gold today.
You can kick my inferno and add TechMode@Minoske
Question! Is the F2P version of Champions Online limited in terms of content?
Would I be able to play for a while without running out of content or would I need to purchase stuff in the store? ._.;
