a review based on the first 10 lvls? are you kidding me? I reached lvl 10 in 20-30 min (dunno anymore) and this is too short to make a test from 10 lvls..
some of your points are ok but not all of them. Keep playing and update your review ;)

the fun starts at lvl 20+ i guess.. when you get more talents.. XD
And for the pve fans it also gets more fun when the instances start
Crappy review. You should have played more so you could be more detailed. This is *** ugly.
Your scoring system is really weird, you said customization was 4/5, then you said it could have been better, but it was almost perfect?
I'll just play the game myself when it comes out..
How about instances which will not require fighting, but rather through teamwork?
How about the Vampire class? Some may argue it is like a Warlock class, but I have yet to see Warlocks meddle with health points like this class does.
How about the Blessing and horoscope system, which affects each character differently and affects server progress?
Have you seen a pet system as indepth as Forsaken World's?
The offline EXP gain system, how many MMOs still have it now?
How about the upcoming God system?
How about the upcoming cross-server PvP?
Which MMOs still have daily fishing events and competitions?
How about Guild Bases located in the skies, with aerial combat teased for the future?
How many F2P games actually has an active guild building system, where members can upgrade various different structures in the floating guild base to open up new features and change how the base look?
You said you read my blog, now you answer me. And to add on, I absolutely hated some aspects of the game, mostly the PvP system, hence I asked about it in my interview. The game isn't perfect, it is never gonna be, but at least it is injecting new elements into old school point and clicks. Now I shall wait for your answer.
none, i was stating the game has nothing unique to it, and i proved that correct.
Edit: 2 things unique, sorry.
Edit 2: but i guess if you want a unique pet system
Megaten
bam f2p comparison.
I see at least 2 "none" there, and you said there was nothing unique to it. It is either my eyes are failing me or you are trying your hardest to get away with spewing nonsense.
And I see yet another 2 compared to WoW.
And BoI is from PWE as well... (slaps forehead)...
2 unique features, the rest found in various games and polished up. I don't even know if the Vampire from Shadowbane can be put into comparison. And yes, I like Allods, but does it even have half of the features FW can offer?
if you read the edits i've changed stuff.
but yeah, another offline exp gain
Conquer online.
not slamming it, just tired of people calling it Unique.
i never said i wouldn't be playing anything, what pisses me off is when people call something unique when it isn't.
WoW is a good example.
My mindset when commenting on FW is in the F2P market, I segment them properly and seldom use them to compare with P2P.
Not sure about WoW, never said it had unique features as well, a fun game with many players online all the time.
A MMO will never be unique now, but unique features, yes~
Who said FW was unique anyway?
alot of the people hyping it in the past, made me want to try it.
learned the truth, i wonder why i still listen to those people.
you can hit lvl 30 easily within the first day....do a review once u hit 35-40 atleast
once again, the game DOES has its own unique features not found in any other MMOs. just scroll up and read =/ the daily events/ quests are there to take the stress off from instancing and hunting bosses, what is so bad about that? No matter what you call it, the game does separate daily quests and events apart, giving players more choices. That is suppose to be bad?
I have not seen any MMO with that much details placed on pets, unless you are telling me games like Digimon RPG which is focused on... pets.
Wait, you expected the vampire class to really suck blood from necks? And that's why i say some of you are really delusional. Come back to MMOs again when Avatar 3 airs.
And by stating that you are waiting for TERA, i can see that you belong to the group which has lost faith and interest in point and click games. Like i said, no biggie, just quit flaming any such games coming out.
Point and click is still the standard nowadays despite getting old, it is the system most of us who started gaming 10 years ago grew up with. Even i am kind of tired of it now, but any game which positive unique features to the market demands respect, not just being blind-sided.
And no, i am not trying to change people's mind, the fact is that FW is the best point and click being released in awhile, the only game which is nearly on par in my opinion is Allods. I will always debunk posts which says FW does not offer anything new, when it clearly does.
Let me see...blessing/horoscope/birth system...pretty common on the majority of asian mmorpgs, where you get certain skills, that's far from unique.
Guild building...yeah...might be, on the other hand i remember that gamigo mmorpg released not so long ago where you build whole cities, that makes it no unique features from ones the posted on the previous posts...also, unreleased features don't really count...i remember RoM saying they were going to have combat in mounts and so on...yeah...sure.
Pet system...can i say Rappelz again? Best pet system ever not based on random stats/skills to make you use their CS in order to adquire an overpowered pet?
So if i name a class in one of these martial arts Jackie Chan, it will be him? It's named vampire...yes, it's like a vampire...not. On the other hand, the less i could care about in a game is how the classes are named...but i see that's a big plus for you, i want a class named Chewaca.
Yea...since i'm waiting for a game that means i hate all other genres and games that are not like it...really, don't say bs please.
With every post you make you really show your love for FW, you really have no neutral point of view as you obviously like the game too much to make a valid point. Did i even flame? If i was flaming the game i would say it's completely garbage for newcomers into mmorpgs, which i didn't right now.
Point and click standard? Not at all, just for cheap companies.
I would like to see a totally new class, a ROBOT! None of the MMORPG's have this, you know what RPG's I mean. It won't fit the story, but it could be added. For example, in FW can be added through the dwarfs, in WoW through the Goblins and Gnomes.
Just like the Death Knights refreshed WoW, this could refresh FW or WoW or Allods with the cyborgs they. xD
Some futuristic class in an MMO like WoW/FW/Allods might be interesting imo.

If it was standard then the majority of P2P would be point and click aswell...and they are not, which just makes the "point and click" another excuse to make the game look any better.
Sigh... the system in FW affects things like world bosses' spawn rates, slight buffs given to players at certain timings, mobs being stronger at under certain horoscopes according to the in-game time and movement of the stars. Through the blessing system, which you can see at the top part of FW interface, there is a %. Everytime the meter hits a certain %, a certain new feature is open to all players in the server.
for example, if it follows the Chinese server, the first 100% will then unlock the guild bases. all these will affect the future cross server PvP. This is not just your lame horoscope system which pretty much does nothing in most MMOs. You did not even bother to research about the feature, and you diss it off as yet another copy from other games?
Oh yes, you got me here, you are good. And how did I change my statement? O_o King of Kings 3 has a really awesome building system for guilds and nations.
I will always admit my wrong comments and posts, don't worry, I know how to admit when i am proven wrong.
King of Kings 3... How can I forget it? Anyone remembered it?
Yes, i still believe FW has the most indepth pet system. i cant really remember the features except the cards, but rappelz's pet system did not exactly left an impression on me. like i said, this is my own opinion, you are free to bring out whatever rappelz's pet system has to enlighten me instead of bringing up the games' names all the time.
Yes, the game will definitely be better in getting players to try the class and game out instead of naming it as warlock. shoot me?
0? oh so, you are on a personal crusade dissing point and clicks. nice.
EXCUSE ME SIR, Aion, WoW and all are listed as point and click. So what do you categorize them as? non-target action mmo?
the movement combat issue in FW is still being rectified, there are already tons of complains about it.
lol @ cinderboy, how much did they pay you ?!? :)
Paid nothing. This is the only F2P in recent months worth hyping, that's all.
And it fits my bill as a F2P which will not get players bored as fast as games like... AIKA.
I will always welcome all your opinions about f2p MMOs which have been released in the past 6 months which you think is much better than FW.
Many have already statement FW is not running smoothly on middle end computers. Actually ppl said high end but I dont think my radeon hd 6850 and AMD X4 555 BE is high end. So the game should run smoother it runs atm. But LotRo runs smoothly everything on highest settings.
Well, that's what made me left the game mostly lol. It's 2011, not 2004 lol. Also, when I saw the actual price for the mastery and resistance points it made me quit even more, lol. Who will pay 24800$ for a freaking game? o0
Oh, I forgot, the engine too. They seriously need to tweak it down, even for sake of closing the game down...
3 actually. xD
Hmph then why the **** did so many people hype the shit out of this game in the first place? Sure it happens to every "new" MMORPG that's announced etc. But people were like "omfg Forsaken World omfgggzzz must get in CB etc."
And now the game isn't even discussed or brought up as much as before. So why bother hyping it if it was just a clone of Perfect World Jady Dynasty etc.? -_-
Just irks me a lot these days. I'm willing to bet PWE will introduce a new fantasy 3D MMORPG in a couple months and people here will hype the shit out of it realizing it will be another clone re-skinned with maybe new classes, skills, UI, you name it.
There really is no difference between all of PWE's games except Battle of the Immortals. :-/
Honestly, if you didn't like Jade Dynasty i'm 90% sure you won't like FW, but you should try it by yourself.
Oh...another more! :P
The main problem is that point and click was called to the first mmorpgs (it wasn't even made for mmorpgs, it was for graphic adventure games) which indeed were trully point and click...and people kept calling more advanced games point and click...which is simply a wrong definition...but if someone is happy calling them that...good for them.
It's like the vampire class on FW...sure it's called vampire, but it's not a vampire. Just because someone calls orange to a potato doesn't mean it's true.
So what? Is it your first time here? There's always a game getting hyped here lol! FW is not a bad game btw.
Adamaris, FW's vampire is a vampire, get over it. It's not a warlock or any (insert class) of your imagination. Last time I checked, vampires don't use demons or any summons as their pets like WoW and lineage 2's warlocks. Maybe they share A FEW of warlock's characteristics but that's about it. I'm not a fan of the Twilight series, but vampires in that author's books are not affected by the cross and the sunlight just like in FW. So please get over it...
then they are not true vampires.
the cross is fine, the immunity to sunlight kinda makes vampires over powered.
but yeah according to vampire lore, vampires have the ability to control the minds of people and animals. so a vampire chilling out with a wolf is common.
can anyone play the 4th cb ? :O
