its so sad that i cant play right now and see a thread and mabi screens at onrpg. It hurts :(
Why did you get banned? And Yeah, I can totally understand that.. Mabi is so much fun, I wonder why I left.
i would say that the CS is needed. Not for the whole game but you need sooner or later a mount. Without a Mount you will run for hours (yeah there are warpgates but the landscape is still big) + you have more inventory place.Quote:
Yes, premium, pets is only a nice extra and some extra convieniance, you don't need to pay to progress, there are also free rebirths. And Yeah, I think you have SMS pay or something similair.
Cash shop isn't needed at all, it's just items that make the game a bit more fun, but nothing overpowered or anything.. it can also speed up your progress a little bit. but.. nothing that is needed.
so if you really wanna play mabi. Get a horse and a bird is good too. Then you will never need the CS again.
If they unban my acc soon i will join you guys to help some newcomers. IGN:Phan and my level is over 400 + i finished near every generation (some parts of G12 are still left but then i got the ban lol)

I would still play Mabi EU. But for some reason, since I got my "new" PC, I keep having this problem with Windows 7 not even letting me run the install. Keeps giving me some "Extraction complete, run as admin to begin install" crap, even if I choose the "Run as administrator" option.
Nothing of what was posted on the tech support forum seems to help either.
It should restart the installer and continue automaticly (dont force admin!) If not continue from the nexon map on your hdd
i play with no premium only things i bought were horse which is def needed ... and a pet ... then i got 1 more pet from event ... :D and i think it would be great to get flying mount to ^^
i need to add smth (poeticas mentioned).
You can get small pets like dogs or cats or other things from events too.
But those pets are not that important. Just to have more inventory space
and perhaps some bonus.
Horse is very important
Bird is very good if you wanna go on buying
and all the other pets are not that important..perhaps
the herb swine but many other people own one and there
is no porblem to get herbs from dungeons or other people

its not that important. In the end you get the same stats. Depending on your playtime. You cant fail with skills or rebirth because you can learn everything if you have enough time (and i think you need a whole life for that ^^).Quote:

Every skill is usefull. Sure, you wanna focus on smth but you can still get other things. My char is a Hybrid-Lightning-Ice-Clymore(spirit)-Blaze- Warri ^^ (sure i am a Dark Knight)

You can summon it xxx minutes a day
you can use a pet for a time period each day. If the pet is summoned you lose this time but you can cancel the summon every time and re summon to use the time for traveling or if you solo a dungeon and its too hard you can use your pet as a combat partner too (good at the start).Quote:

Its ok that there is this time period because you never use your mount all the time and its just stupid to sit on your mount in a town and doing nothing.
but this is one reason why you need (if you get into the game) 2 mounts. 1 horse and one bird because on the continent (iria) you can use flying mounts in every zone + the landscape is very big. Its just stupid to use a horse there. Normaly you use warpgates there but a flying mount is perfect to reach some locations fast.
on the starter continent there are only 3 areas for flying mounts so its better to use a horse there or if you wanna
speed some things up you use the flying mount there too but only in these areas (you can use flying mounts in every area but you cant fly and they are not so fast like a horse...just a bit faster then a human)

Progress is about practising your skills and leveling them, which costs ap.
You earn AP by leveling and aging, but after a certain age, the gain drops.
So, you rebirth, basicly you keep your level (it says one but.. if you look at your tab you have a total level.. that's your real level) and skills. and you get more AP.
Confusing at first, but give it a shot, it's not that hard to understand.
yeah the game has many things to offer. Its like a p2p game (was p2p in korea when it was new) so its a bit confusing for newcomers but its not hard to get into the game.Quote:

rebirth is important to get new AP (skill points) because you get most AP from aging. When your char is 20 years old you can rebirth. You should set your lvl to 0 again because you get 1AP from every lvl up too. The good thing is. Even when your lvl is 0 again your main lvl + stat points are still the same like befor you rebirthed (your char info have a history where you can check your real lvl)
i always play up to lvl 35-40 and then rebirth. Depending on my age or if i had some CS money left.
your real problem will be the combat because mabis combat is unique and you need to learn the movements of your enemys. Every mob type has different ways to attack you or they have different tactics...at the start you will know nothing about them but sooner or later you will understand what i mean + you will start to pown in combat
edit: use mabi-wiki for every other information. Its really necessary to use mabi wiki for generations and so on or
you will have no clue whats going on xD

If u're a casual player u don't really need to use the cash shop,but if u play a little bit more the game becomes a rip off(u will need weeklly rebirths)...with the money u pay for this game u can be subscribed to like 2 pay to play games
I think my char is like total 1050-1100 (haven't played in like 3-4 months) and compared to the korean version...the cash shop here is like 3 times more expensive and the costumer support is prolly a monkey dancing macarena

Depends, if you want to progress the fastest possible way, yes. But that's just insane imho. IMHO, there's more than eneugh to do, and just earn money and play it as a slice of life game, once you have no more ap to wait for your free rebirth and get some money in the mean time to become bad-***!
