Like Dragon Nest Global and they will reveal the CBT date, registration is opened!

If you have a facebook account, simply log in and go to http://www.facebook.com/DNGlobal and Like the DN Global facebook page!
Once they hit 10,000 Likes, they will reveal us the release date of DN Global!

Side note:
There are two Dragon Nest version, one is by Nexon ( which i believe is cater for NA players ), and the other one is Dragon Nest Global
Publisher of Dragon Nest Global is CherryCredits, which does not have any IP-Blocks.

Ugh, I hate when someone is forcing(not in a way of forcing you, but asking/telling you to like) you to like just so you can see something or like Nexon is doing, "Like if you want to see the release date", hell, I don't like when someone is telling me to like something, I will do that on my will.

I hate facebook for one reason, and that's the insane amount of stupid groups, it's not facebook, but more of a groupbook.

I'd be very interested to see if they actually go through with this. At the rate MMORPG games gain 'likes' on FB, we could be waiting a while!

sigh, i wish mmo companies stop doing this crap.

just show us some teasers over the weeks leading up to the launch and that will please everyone.

or even hold an event making us guess, with the ones correct about the month getting into CBT, everyone will largely be happy.

this facebook thing is just lazy marketing.

diablo 3's ice cracking teaser was one of the best.

Lazy but smart. The 'like' feature is a great way of marketing a product virally and if you have an incentive for people to 'like' that product, you're laughing. The fact of the matter is, this will gain them 10,000 'fans' who have alerted their friends they are eagerly awaiting Dragon Nest.

I bet marketers in the 60's, 70's and even 90's are turning in their, albeit early, graves.

Smart on their side, but how will gamers who have been waiting for months feel?

Dragon Nest, luckily, is in a unique situation where there are actually no games of similar style available or releasing in the same period (Global wise, screw Vindictus' IP block).

Hope they actually had this in mind before using the "like" marketing tactic.

The "like" feature for FB is basically free advertisement. It's usually generated by genuine interested people. It's a good way to spread the work no matter how tiny the number of likes are in comparison to the FB populous. Nothing really wrong in it.

EDIT: To add... THE SIGNUP WANTS MY IDENDITY NUMBER?!?!?!

The publisher of DN Global is CherryCredits, not Nexon. If im not wrong, Nexon's DN is only for NA players right?

CS clothes is not a problem for me. The problem is if these CS clothes have stats on them or an overpowered amount of stats on them.

Overpowered weapons that are only CS accessible, etc, etc. This is what will/does turn me off from these free mmo's.

Many games allowed foreign players to test their betas in order to hit the maximum no. of players in order to test their stability system. When they hit open beta, they just announce that only NA or Europe players are able to play due to license blah blah
