Yeah,I've heard that EverQuest 2 is free to play.
Is this mmorpg available for downloading from the internet,or do you have to purchase it from a store?
Is the Paladian class a combo of the fighter and priest? (heal and fight?)

Everquest 2 extended has a streaming downloader on their site, the game does have restrictions please keep this in mind.
As for you question about the Paladin class, it is a mixture between fighter and priest. They use holy power for minor heals (Which can get better with your advancement points and whatnot), but also specialise in melee combat arts using attacks with a light infused weapon, sometimes even having passives that cast spells at random with your melee strikes.
Free in the way that Runescape is free. Except it seems like this is more underhanded. You can just download it off the Everquest 2: Extended site. I'd use Extended as a trial, if you like it, switch to the real game, it'll be less of a wallet-******.

Yeah, EQ2x is only a good option if you have the sentinals fate and dov expanctions. Really, when you look at the CS it's not that wallet ****** at all. One payment can unlock a class and three races. Unlike the other freemium games that charge roughly the same amount for one race and one class. They are doing things right. It's the Gold members that I feel sorry for.
LOL.
So for paying the same as before, you get A LOT less than you did before it went "free"?
