Got to play the China server's Closed Beta phase for a few hours (been really busy), and managed to grad some in-game footage for each class. The Monk class' footage is still being processed though T_T.
So, I will only be briefly commenting on the combat.
The combat, while being a traditional Point-and-Click, is miles faster than most games with the same system. Pressing just the skill buttons, I do not have the face the target, no chore of having select them manually as the system automatically aims the enemy nearest to my character, even if not in sight.
The skill combo system is nothing new, but being only able to activate some after casting some pre-requisite skills reminded me of the Blade & Soul videos I posted in my YouTube channel. And oh, you can move around when casting spells, especially for the Mystics.
There will no doubt be some grinding involved, but personally, the skill graphics and the speed of killing mobs is a very welcome factor when comparing to most F2P MMOs.

Do you also have problems with rugged edges ?
Cause i couldn't find a way to force AA on it ... and the game doesn't have the option to turn it on >.<

Not that I noted.
My video seems to have lowered in details when uploading to YouTube, strange. I think something is missing when I was editing the videos, since I just reformatted my computer...

Yeah.
Some videos are grainy even at max YouTube resolution, I have no idea why.
Something went wrong when uploading I guess.

Assassin class doesn't seem like your stereotypical assassin class.
Mystic can walk away and cast I love that more games should have that.

Yeap, it is more of an agility swordsman.
Each class will have 3 different weapons to choose from, you can see at the bottom right corner of the character creation video.

the point and click is not as heavy as other games, and the ones who know me will remember how i am on a crusade against traditional point and click MMOs (minus FW and now this).
You can just press on the skill button and even after killing a mob, the system will auto aim a mob near you. There is no need for manual targeting, just spam the skill macros.

I don't get paid for ANYTHING posted here and in my blog, only for OnRPG articles.
In fact, I rejected ALL proposals with me getting paid to promote games.
So screw off.

You don't? You should. I didn't intend any offense. :( I really do enjoy reading your blog and your informative way of promoting games on ONRPG. Me I usually just gather information that's already there then just you know post links to other people's work but you actually do your own reviews. I'm a terrible writer so I'm jealous oh and lazy. Plus I hate criticism. But yeah I don't screw off I screw on. Whatever that means.
On and back to the topic on Scarlet Legacy is there a marriage system? And what benefits does that have? Also that bird that was carrying that girl is that only meant for transportation from designated areas to other designated areas or is that a pet? Would be awesome to have a flying pet like that carry you around. Riding pets so boring. But eh this question perhaps is stupid I'm reading it and it seems stupid but I'm curious and curiosity always wins.

The monk class looks totally awesome. I mean, the punches sound from a bud spencer & terrence hill movie. ♥

Why the mobs did not agro and did not use brains to do anything serious. It looked very boring. Even the graphics was quite nice.

There are aggro mobs, but as you noticed, I was low level...
And yes, expect grind. The skills and attack speed masks it pretty well though, and most experience at my levels come from quests.
