Wait wait wait...They're going S4 League style and making guns temporary, then charging in the cash shop for permanent versions? Why am I not surprised...

Also those jerks waited until almost the end of closed beta to invite me when I signed up with my old APB account the very first day possible.

I am in the beta and I gotta say the 1.5 patch was awsome the new progression system is great I am having a blast in game cant wait for it to go fully open and have more people to shoot at :)

First, you get money and standing with contacts which unlocks new weapons, clothing, cars, mods (for characters/weapons/cars) for doing missions which is the main way of leveling up. Most weapons have a Rank 1, 20, 40, 60, or 80 rank, and most of those are the premodded versions. Lets also point out that after about 4-5 hours of playing, I'm rank 50 already. So yeaaaaaaah. It don't take much.

Cars are Perm from the start, any car you buy is yours for good and they aren't all that costly. Depends on the one you're buying.

Gah, mistake. Two kinds of cars. Custom and Preset

Custom cars you buy are yours 100% once you buy them. Perm.

Preset cars are 10 day leases that have mods and such already in them and their own, neat look rather then you making a car look at you want.

As for 'rampant hackers', I've not ran into a single hacker myself. One questionable person who happened to get a few nades right next to me, but they did have a team, so perhaps they simply had good teamwork going.

Misinformed. They, as of now, only have 10 day limits on guns that you buy. However, when the game goes OB, they will have perm versions of the guns you can buy with in game cash. No need to spend real money on it.

Frankly, its not a big deal to me anyways, the STAR 556 is a damn good weapon from the start. I just want my LTLs and a good sidearm.

its called a gold sink, something apb never had which is probably why after playing a character for 2-3 weeks i always had everything i could ever want and had 500k+ sitting there doing nothing.

sure it may be a bit harder to keep up with at first but trust me you will still get to the point of having to much money and having nothing to do with it but give it away to noobs.

I think G1 is publishing/redesigning it, but K2 Networks has their hands in it somewhere, maybe they host it.

Anyone having problems while downloading the complete client i always 3mb per second download speed and i am getting 444kb and its only that when i am downloading this client from APB reloaded

same happened to me usual d/l speed 3+mb/s now it was 600-900kb/s

so far the cashshop has not show any imbalances, most of what they sell aside from the ability to sprint with a sniper riffle, is easily unlocked in game. Most of the cash shop wepons will suit new players who have yet to unlock upgraded weponry but once you have opened a 3 slot gun with lvl 3 upgrades your in game items far surpass anything being sold at the cash shop but it will give new players a means to be closer to equal with hardcore players until they can unlock there own weponry.

Not to mention that their matchmaking system is out of whack too.

Like seriously?. Most of the time its like 3 v 6 or 3 v 5. and the opposition is always high level/rank than us.

They made high priority targets such as VIPs and deliverable goods slow a vehicle down to like half it's speed. There is more shooting now than the old version.

i played for awhile this morning before my net started buggin out cause of the ISP people doing work on the lines where im at

but generally things where cool, i got on 1 or 2 missions where i would shoot the hell out of people seemingly and they didn't die and i would die in 4 shots about

i don't know what was up with that, i mean besides that it was just people setting up in good spots on roof tops or using good teamwork like if i was shooting guys on a bridge down in this more confined area this dude with a shotgun would come sprinting up and 2 shot me, i get it they are probably on vent good on them right gun for the job

yeah but i had some good stuff too, getting lucky with where i was going i went on a 6 kill killstreak once and we where defending the hell out of this car before my net decides it wanted to go out

one time i was the only one watching the car cause everyone died and i was chilling in this little side ally and got the guy on the objective when he was trying to ninja it, the starter pistol from what i notice seems to suck, ill still play more for sure though soon as i can get around to it
